wannaskipandlaugh So sweet of you! Thank you for that post How are you doing so far this month? It definitely helps when there's no birthdays or celebrations!!!

I am hoping I reach my year's mini-goal early...in fact, my 10 year high school reunion is in October, and I'd love to be at 180 by then. But I won't officially adjust the goal until I get closer. We'll see how June goes :P

I am hoping to lose 40 lbs this year. That is 3.33 lbs a month. I'm joining this challenge on 2/26 at 216.8. The year started at 231 and the goal for 12/31 is 191.

SW 1/1/14 = 231

April Total Loss: -1.4
May Total Loss: -1.5

Still shooting for Onederland and getting out of the obese zone this year for sure!!!

AAD you are still so consistant. I wish I had alittle of your mental frame of mind. I seem to blow it every 6 weeks or so now (last 5 months) with an I don't care attitude.. I am going to try and get back my MoJo that got my first 100 lbs off.. I miss that determined feeling and knowing I was in control! SUGAR you are BANNED!!! lol

With so much of the year still left, I hope it is ok to join your challenge? I love AAD's format, so I'm pretty much copying that. Maybe that means I'll have her success also!

I am hoping to lose 32 lbs by the end of the year. I'm joining this challenge on 6/27/14 and my last formal weigh-in was 177.0 on 6/24/14. My goal for 12/31/14 is 145.

I need to lose 5.4 lbs per month and my weigh-ins are on Tuesdays.

Jan. 31: 213 (-3 pounds)
Feb. 28: 211.4 (-1.6 pounds)
March 29: 204.4 (-7 pound)
April 25: 201 (-3.4 pounds)
May 30: 196.4 (-4.6)
June 26: 194 (-2.4)

Total this year: -22 pounds

Not bad for June considering I've taken a two week diet break (which I'm technically still on). I'm hoping to get into the 180s in the next month or so!

Slow but steady. Progress, not perfection. It's work but it works!

I'm not all enthusiastic all the time. But I am happy even if I can lose an ounce every day or two.

Sue, you and I both seem to go through these "need a break" times every so often. I think it is because we just push so hard the rest of time. The important thing is that we never give up and we still have an overall downward trend, right? RIGHT!!!

Welcome MayoLover! I am a lover of mayo myself. I had a boyfriend in high school that hated the stuff. He wouldn't even touch the jar without oven mitts. He was so funny.

NoName, very inspirational having a loss along with the diet break. I always gain a ton of water weight and spend triple the time getting it back off especially now that I am older. I haven't tried it without alcohol and/or sugar though...
