Day 11! Thank you for your encouragement, GettinFit!! I sure hope all went well with everyone with Super Bowl Sunday. I was thinking about all of you, and sending you good wishes. I don't want anything to throw us off. We're a team.

Today's Monday, so it means fresh start day for anyone who needs it.

Maybe I should write today's menu tomorrow, because I always end up changing things. But I'm being good. Here's to all of us!

Good morning

Tyla - Superbowl wasn't a problem for me. I was invited to a party but didn't really want to go so I stayed home. I snacked on some Chex mix and had 1 glass of wine and stayed in control of my eating. I hope everyone else did okay.

On Wednesday, I will be joing Weight Watchers @ Work and I am excited about that. I look forward to the group meeting each week. That will force me to track. It's a challenge for me to track calories or Points and I know that I need to be doing it right now.

On to day 45 of being back OP I can really see the changes in my body and my clothes are fitting so much better.

B: Breakstone 100 Cal Cottage cheese double, banana, coffee 1 C skim milk, creamer
L: Healthy Choice Cafe Steamer, 1 pc Dove Dark Mint Choc
S: orange, 1 serv mixed nuts
D: Salad, 1 oven fried fish fillet
Exercise: DVD & 20 min walk

GettinFit, I'm soooo happy for you!!!! First, that you made it through the day yesterday, and secondly, that you are joining a group with discipline and support. I think those things are so important for all of us.

Bravo for looking and feeling better in your clothes!

Thanks everyone for your warm welcomes! All of you have come so far and are such inspirations. I was able to bike for 20 minutes this weekend. I know it doesn't sound like much but after having surgery on my foot, I have not been weight bearing for almost 10 weeks. I am going to make a mini goal of trying to bike every other day this week. My weight has not moved but at least it hasn't gone up! Here's to a great week!

Day 12 here!

I did well yesterday.

So far today I had for breakfast: flaxseed bread, 1/2 cup of soymilk, eggbeaters, yogurt
L: greens w/salmon in a pouch, almonds, yogurt
D: piece of fried chicken, corn, zucchini, ww oatmeal snack

Nursemom, congrats on being able to bike ride. Take care of that foot. I'm trying to forget about that scale for a while. It usually brings me down. All the best to you!

Thanks Tyla! Did 20 minutes again today, whoo hoo!! I feel great, although somewhat disappointed that my foot is sore. Day 12, Way to GO!!!!

GettinFit~ day 46....unbelievable!! You are such an inspiration! Amazing...keep up the great work, it makes us all feel like we can do it too!

My mini goals~ check in here every day. Get on the bike for 20 mins a day.
Hopefully I'll get my ticker soon

Day 13.

Lunch: apple, almonds, Greek yogurt
Dinner: Chinese food, ww oatmeal snack

Exercise: 20 minutes of Strength Training. Yesterday I did 30 min. of cardio.

Nursemom - YES you can do it! Hang in there and take it one day at a time.

Tyla - Congrats on day 13 Just keep on doing what you're doing.

I signed up for Weight Watchers at work today and I am excited about that. It was an informational meeting so we didnt' get to weigh nor get our materials. She did give us the new Simple Start booklet so I am going to get started with that.

Day 47

NurseMom, hope all is well with you today. I hope you're still babying that foot. I know injuries can really hold one back. I always seem to be doing something to myself. Today my knee hurts. Bummer. Take care.

Today's menu:
B: eggbeaters, flaxseed bread, banana, yogurt
L: oatmeal, raisins, almonds - It's cold and rainy today.
D: Oatmeal, raisins, almonds (Have to make a quick dinner-Have a meeting tonight.)

I so agree with you Tyla - TGIF!!! It's been a crazy hectic work week for me and I am so glad it's almost the weekend!!!

Day 49 - I still haven't weighed this month so I have no idea where I am. I will be forced to weigh in at my WW meeting next week.
