Yes, I have found that shoveling snow is quite a workout myself...but not much snow here yet... we've had strange rainstorms then frost....odd this time of year (Vermont)

pnkrckpixicat- aww man in school too huh? it's hard to juggle all that stuff, I'm finally done with school myself and it's definitely hard to do family, school, work. I've heard about the insulin response and carbs and tried the Atkins, works well but be careful, I'm sure Atkins has some modifications but it's founder did die of a heart attack.... it is a successful diet though, think I lost 8lbs in a week on it... I'll tell ya though by the end I wanted to rip someone's face off for eating pasta around me.....

It looks like you've come a long way too.... I see you count in kg..I'm not familiar with kgs and it's hard because the doctor's offices are all converting now. I'm sure I'll catch on eventually... see you around the boards!

183stgb- nice job being accountable...crossfit, that a machine? are you building muscle? they say you might gain w muscle as it weighs more than fat...
leeh- well, I totally get how hard it is to eat in moderation....me too.... also, don't worry too much, the fact that you've lost the weight repetitively means you know you can do it and something works for you....which is awesome!
marymo-hi, and good luck... 4 lbs is fine, and reasonable especially if you might be tempted to eat lots of interesting foods for the holidays....
