Wow, Tray, so glad you're feeling better now. Sinus infections are so miserable!

Leah, if you do maintain for a couple of weeks, it will be interesting to see if it jumpstarts your metabolism. The theory is yes. I hope it works for you!

Joy, that soy sauce does it every time! But at least you know it's only temporary.

Pixikat, nice drop!

Turtle, I see the whoosh fairy visited you too!

Sum, that's fantastic! Staying OP is working amazingly for you!

Puft, great to see the scale's still moving for you!

Lene: We haven't heard from you for a while. I hope everything is ok and you're just busy making arrangements for the kids to go back to school.

Turtle: Glad to see the prior gains reversed. I hope you're feeling better. Time to bring out the Greyhound and put this month to bed!

Joy: You still have a few days to get back to goal…you'll do it!

Jacqui: All together now: 196, 196, 196!!

Stay Puft: You too have had a great month since you joined us…way to rock the 190's!

Pixi: It looks like you're now solidly in the 240's…good job.

cheeriloos: Glad to see you're back on the downhill slopes!

Tray: Sorry to hear you were ill, but happy you're now ok and your weight didn't suffer. You'll be back to your workouts before you know it.

Sum: A 5.4 lb loss in two days…that's terrific! Perhaps it's just what you needed to get right back on track.

Leah: A period of maintenance often can jump-start weight loss, although you've lost 6 lbs in August, which is a great result…so you really don't need a jump-start.

I'm surprised that number isn't higher because I feel more bloated than that. This too shall pass.

Sum38, wow that is amazing! I'm really proud of you that you kept posting even when things weren't going well. I hope that I can follow your example during my tough times.

Turtle11, good job.

pnkrckpixikat, congrats on the new low number. May it be followed by many more. You can run a minute longer than me. And as far as I'm concerned if you run at all that makes you a runner.

gardenerjoy, yummy, salty soy sauce.

LovelyLeah, my birthday is also towards the end of September so I know what you mean about wanting to lose some more before the big day.

TrayTeam, so sorry you've been ill. Hope you are feeling better.

Tuscany, goodbye 150s! Way to stick to the 140s! Now you'll have to step away from the edge.

My goodness, that 196 is elusive! Or rather, my 197 set point is stubborn! But hey, I like the 197 set point much better than the 210 set point so I won't complain too much!

Puft, I was feeling just the opposite today. My bloat felt gone and I was sure I was going to drop a lb this morning. Nope, lol.

Tuscany, thanks, haha! And yay for you!

Sum, that's so great! I'm happy for you!

I don't know what's up with the scale all of a sudden. I'm sticking with my plan. MiL is in the hospital which is causing stress and a bit of a dampener on exercise, so maybe that's it. It will turn around.

Hello everyone.

SUM 4.4 pounds in one day and 1.4 down the next! WOW!! Envious

Tray That must have been a VERY serious infection. Glad you are one the mend though! BAck to the grind.

Tuscany Woohoo!! Goal!!! Great Job!!

Turtle The month isn't quite over so don't count yourself out. Even if you don't make it though you are still going down and if you make it to 166 thats about a pound a week which is still awesome!

Jaqui Maybe that 196 is so elusive you will skip it altogether!

Ok so this coming weekend is going to be a not so good weekend weight loss wise. Friday I have a lunch date with a girlfriend, Saturday we always eat out as a family and Monday my little sister is coming into town for her birthday and I'm taking her to lunch. I plan to eat wisely but I know the sodium will KILL me. So I am going to weigh in one day early before the rise thats not cheating is it? I did step on the scale earlier this week after my small gain last friday and I did lose so Im not sure what my deal was then. Still no TOM yet (not prego though) So who knows.
Also had a NSV yesterday. I walked 1 whole mile on the treadmill. Its hotter then Hades outside here so inside is better. I have never walked a whole mile on the treadmill before I am super proud of myself. Ill try and do it again tmro if my hips don't hurt like they do today! Ill post tmro with final weigh in of August for me!
