Jaqui Maintaining during TOM and vacation is very impressive! Keep it up

BleuMaus only going 90 cals over is wonderful when those munchies are attacking! Let me know how the laser tattoo thing goes, I have a tatt on each wrist that I want to remove completely.

Wolfgirl yup definitely some bloat from your binge flushing off good job!! Have a great road trip!

Tuscany if you keep on losing so steadily you may even need to lower your goal for the month!

Gardener it is just a fluctuation, I'm sure you will see it in no time!

Leah That does sound pretty funny to see! I'm glad you are ok! When does your job start? Did you ever tell us what it is or am i just forgetful?

I have another interview today, yay! After that I need to go to the gym, my groupon expires on the 14th and I still have 4 more sessions to work in.

8/1: 251.4
8/2: 250.6
8/3: 250.2
8/4: 251.4
8/5: 251.6
8/6: 250.6
8/7: 249.4
8/8: 251.6
8/9: 249.4 (I weighed after going for my walk though so it may bounce back up again)

Woohoo! Onederland, here I come! I lost a lb, so I'm down to 200! Tomorrow is cheat day. If I can just maintain or not gain more than a lb because of that, I should be able to drop into the 100's next week!

Leah, bless your heart! I'm so glad you weren't injured more. Good luck on your 1st day of work!

Wolfgirl, have fun on your road trip (but not too much fun!)

Bleu, hang in there! Keep that goal in mind!

Pixikat, good luck!!!

Tuscany, good job!

Joy, you're due anytime now for a drop! Keep that positive attitude. It's inspirational!

Pixi I'm work at 5pm and I'm working at a Christmas store as an ornament personalizer. The store is in a really large mall with 2 food courts and lots of candy and chocolate stores. I'm challenging myself to see how long I can go without buying food there. I'm not counting the cheese store but that I plan on bringing home and because they have specialty cheese I can't find at normal grocery stores. But the idea is to not waste money and calories on pointless food. So I'm gonna have to do a lot of planning to make sure I bring enough healthy snacks as well as meals on longer days.

And good luck on your interview!

Jacqui You are so close!!! Yay!

Turtle You are doing fantastic!!! Dreams are so weird, aren't they!? I have dreamed about bugs and snakes, but more often I wake up from falling. Such a strange feeling.

Joy Great attitude!

Leah I'm so glad you are okay. You are so lucky you weren't more seriously hurt! I know you are going to be sore!!! Congrats on the Size 10!

TrayTeam WTG on your losses and planning out your weekend!

Pixi Congrats on getting back into the 40s. I hope to be back with you next week at the latest! Hope your interview went well!

Lene You go girl! Glad you are feeling good. The spa day sounds wonderful!

Jacqui I hear you about losing the internet. It is amazing how much we use it. Kudos for losing during vacation and TOM! What is your secret?

Cincorn Dumb sodium! I'm sure you'll level out soon.

Tuscany Woohoo! You are doing awesome!!!

BleuMaus I feel your pain! I am still weighing daily, but I am ignoring the numbers for a few days.

Wolfgirl Great job! I hope you have a safe trip and that your grandfather feels better!

Leah Thats right! See I knew you had told us, I'm just forgetful lol August seems really early in the season for a Christmas store to be opening already. But the stores seem to push it forward a bit every year. Good luck with the food court! Maybe make it a habit to leave your money or card at home so it isn't even an option unless it is pre-planned?

Jaqui you are right there!!! congrats I look forward to seeing you hit Onederland

Thanks for the interview luck everyone! Unfortunately about a minute in we realized our lines were crossed at some point, she was looking for full time 40+ hrs a week and I am looking for 20, maybe 30 max. So she is going to talk to the regional manager and see if any of the other locations near me are looking for someone part time.

Pixi I've had a similar experience but mine was the the worst interview of my life because it wasn't a minute in but 20 very awkward minutes. He was interviewing me for one position that started at 4am and I had applied for a completely different position to work in the evenings. Finally I just had to stop him and figure out what he was interviewing me for. It was such a relief when we both realized it was a mistake that my application got mixed in with his! We were able to laugh about it at the end but up until that point it was torture!!

First day of work went great. A really awesome group of people. I'm excited for the incompetent phase to be over though. I don't like not knowing how everything works and where it goes or comes from. But that'll fade in time and I'll get the hang of it.

One thing that pleased me was that I was having a skinny day today. Every time I caught a reflection of myself I felt pleasantly surprised at that I'm losing weight. It makes up for the fact that I've seemed to have plateaued again.

It seems I'm back to losing...another 0.75 lbs this morning. The carrot and I are dancing.

Aug 1: 157.25
Aug 2: 156.75 (-0.50)
Aug 3: 156.00 (-0.75)
Aug 4: 155.25 (-0.75)
Aug 5: 154.50 (-0.75)
Aug 6: 154.50 (0.00)
Aug 7: 154.25 (-0.25)
Aug 8: 154.50 (+0.25)
Aug 9: 154.00 (-0.50)
Aug 10: 153.25 (-0.75)

GW: 149.00

Turtle: That soy sauce will get you every time. At least you're still holding in the 160's. I wish you better luck with today's weigh in.

GardenerJoy: We can all learn from your great attitude and patience!

Jacqui: On vacation and now losing weight…way to show us how it's done!

bg124: I hope the Whoosh Fairy visits you soon and waves her wand double time!

pixi: You're back in the 240's…I hope it sticks! Good luck finding a part-time job.

Leah: I'm glad to hear you're ok despite the fall…and that you enjoy your new job. I'm sure the brief "plateau" is just water weight or stress. You'll be back to losing before you know it.

TrayTeam: That extra little bit is no doubt added water…it will be gone in a day or so.

So I had to eat out twice yesterday, which rarely happens. I managed to stay on plan with the double eat-out, so I'm proud of myself for that. I might drink water with lemon today. Has anyone tried that?

Leah - sorry about your tumble, that sucks, I'm glad it was only bruises. I know what you mean about wanting the initial phase of the job to be done. I like knowing where everything goes and when. Congrats on the skinny day! (but I bet that it is permanent )

Tuscany - you are like a machine 4 lbs in 10 days incredible. I might change your name to "the robot".

Tray - awesome job. Gotta love those steady declines.

Pixi - Congrats on hitting the new decade! I love groupons, but I get so worried that I won't use them in time. Sorry about the interview. The same thing happened to me a few years ago only we didn't realize it until after I was hired. The ad was incorrect listing the hours wrong and no one mentioned it in the interviews (which was partly my fault). It turned into a giant mess.

lene - four days in a row losses! 160s....

Jacqui - When I go on vacation next month, I'm going to use you as an inspiration. You kept on plan, exercised and as a result you are bordering onederland.

wolf - weight loss definately has its ups and downs, I just try to stay committed, and I know eventually the fat has to come off. Your down 3.8 in 9 days!!

cincorn - Chinese did the EXACT same thing to me, only I gained 1.4. ugh such a pain because I love chinese. I might have to try something with less sodium at one of my favorite restaurants. It should come off soon.

Gardenjoy - eating out is so hard, I feel like if you make the right calorie choices, you still have the bad sodium intake. Oh well, it happens.

Blue - congrats on the 170s! TOM stinks, stupid hormones. 90 cal over isn't bad and good job on not giving into the binge. Maybe try some white vinegar down the drain?

bg - TOM is such a pain. I get those falling dreams too. I've discovered that the closer I eat to going to bed, the worse my dreams/nighmares get. I had something right before I went to bed with the bugs dream. I guess its just one more reason not to eat late.

SW (July 31): 172
GW: 165

August 1: 171
August 2: 171
August 3: 171
August 4: 170.2
August 5: 170.0
August 6: 169.8
August 7: 168.8
August 8: 168.4
August 9: 169.8
August 10: 169.8 again

Leah I'm glad your first day of work went well I'm sure you will get the hang of it in no time! AND a new decade! congrats!

Tuscany holy crap look at you go! Makes me think that your body was holding water in fat cells that had already been emptied and is finally flushing it out or something.

Turtle I drink water with lemon for a couple days when I have eaten out etc. It seems to work, I'm usually back to the right number on the scale on the third day after eating out instead of it dragging out longer like it has in the past.

8/1: 251.4
8/2: 250.6
8/3: 250.2
8/4: 251.4
8/5: 251.6
8/6: 250.6
8/7: 249.4
8/8: 251.6
8/9: 249.4
8/10: 250.6 (I knew weighing after the walk would probably put me low due to sweat loss lol)
