Well, it had to happen sooner or later...a small gain this morning. However, I've lost 2.75 lbs in 8 days, so I'm not complaining. In fact, I get a little worried when I lose too quickly...concerned that I might be losing muscle rather than fat, which is not something I want to do.

Aug 1: 157.25
Aug 2: 156.75 (-0.50)
Aug 3: 156.00 (-0.75)
Aug 4: 155.25 (-0.75)
Aug 5: 154.50 (-0.75)
Aug 6: 154.50 (0.00)
Aug 7: 154.25 (-0.25)
Aug 8: 154.50 (+0.25)

GW: 149.00

Turtle: You now seem to be firmly in the 160's…way to go! Must be that 30DS. As for bugs crawling all over…can't say I've ever heard of that!

Lene: You're now below your Aug start weight…yeah for the end of TOM! I am very proud of my baby (my 32-year-old baby). I also have a 31-year-old baby: my son. He's a personal trainer, and will soon begin his studies to be a paramedic. He's not MY PT (that would NOT work), although he has been very supportive of my weight loss journey and he gives me good advice.

Pixi & bg124: Congratulations on getting into the 240's...that's a great milestone!

Jacqui: Way to go…hanging steady while on holidays. I hope you're really enjoying your time away!

wolfgirl: Even though you didn't show a loss, you're still down 3 lbs since the start of August, which is terrific. So, don't focus on last night's binge...just get back OP…you can do this!

GardenerJoy: It's nice you were able to eat your soy dish without penalty.

Cincorn: High sodium does put a damper on things. I hope the scales are kinder to you tomorrow.

BleuMaus, TrayTeam & Leah: Congrats on the continued losses!

Right there with you, cincorn! I ended up with two meals outside of my kitchen yesterday, but I made reasonable choices. Not too many calories, too much salt!

SW: 79.6kgs
CW: 79.55 (+0.55)
GW: 78

LovelyLeah: hope your shopping trip was fun! I enjoyed new sizes. I didn't enjoy that my body stayed proportionally the same, so I had to accept that off-the-rack clothes are going to gap at the waist if they fit in the hips and thighs -- I had to work with my brain a bit to not let that make me feel fat even after I lost so much weight! I read a great book called Do I Look Fat in This? by Rhonda Britten that explained how clothes are designed for size models who are not very curvy because curves make clothes more expensive to construct. Clothes that don't fit my curvy body are the fault of the manufacturers, not my body.

wolfgirl69: What did you learn from your binge last night? Any guess on what triggered it? How can you prevent it next time?

Tuscany: I get worried when I lose weight too quickly, too. I think it's helpful to have some breaks in the downward trend for everything to adjust.

Garden I haven't gone yet, I go later today. My thing is I know what works for my body type, finding it is a different story. Flare/bellbottom pants haven't been "in-style" for ages but they perfectly balance out my hips and make my but look cute. I have longer legs as it is so they don't make me look squat either. Right now it's all skinny jeans, everywhere!! Uh...no!! They make my hips look huge and since I have cankles they are just plain uncomfortable. Bootcut is hit or miss on me, it all depends on where it hangs and where it drapes.

Pixi and bg124 WOOOH!!!! You're into the 40's, woohoo!!! Congrats!

Good morning! Looks like everyone is either doing great or know where they went wrong and are correcting, so good job!

I am up this morning, the past two nights we went and got personal sized pizzas at a local joint. I stayed within my calories both nights but sodium is not kind ah well it'll flush off and I am well used to it. We eat out alot so my loss usually looks like a roller coaster lol

8/4: 251.4

Pixi Sodium can be a killer but at least it's not permanent weight gain.

Today I bought SIZE 10 PANTS!!!! Holy crap I didn't know that was possible! I grabbed my usual 14's and a couple of 12's just to test. Well I tried on a pair of 12's first and they were loose! I actually took them off and looked at the inner tag to make sure it wasn't labeled wrong. I went and got a pair of 10's and I almost cried because they fit so perfectly. Not too long ago I was wearing 16's and 18's.

Congrats on the size 10, Leah! Very exciting!

Cincorn, Joy, and Pixikat, hang in there. That water will fall away before you know it!

Wolfgirl, maintaining is fine, especially if you ate a lot and late at night!

Turtle, good job on the scale! Don't know if the dreams are diet-related. I wouldn't be surprised.

Thanks, Tuscany! I'm having a great time! And your body is just finding a balance before it keeps losing. Some people don't believe one's body resets itself in weight loss, but I do.

Lene, you go, girl! 4 straight days of weight loss! Woohoo!

Tray, great job on another loss! And good for you in planning your weekend now!

I am still maintaining. I'd rather be losing but I know that under the circumstances--vacation and TOM--maintaining is a great option.

Ugh...yesterday, over night i gained 2lbs...
Then the cramps started and the "you nees to eat everything in sight" started.
I didnt give into the binge... but i did go 90 cal over my limit. Ill live with that.
I am refuseing to weigh myself until next week, Monday.
If i keep seeing 179 I might get discouraged.

Since I did successfully hit 179, I get my goal prize, lazer tattoo fading. Since my prize for my ultimate goal is a new tattoo, i need to get it faded first. I saw the lazer doctor yesterday and Im excited. Makes me want to hit 160 even quicker

Also on a very random note... my kitchen sink STINKS!!! I think something is caught in the piping below....

@ Leah:
Wtg on your size 10!!!!

@PixiCat:
Im in the same boat. My body is just so bloated i dont even want to weigh myself this weekend.

I totally wiped out and fell down the stairs this morning. No worries I'm fine beyond the fact that I probably have a few bruises down my left hip and ankle and the back of my right wrist. It was actually best case scenario because I was carrying a large load of wash in my arms and because I couldn't see I missed the bottom step. We have a small landing at the bottom of main stairs that turns and goes down a couple more stairs. I pinballed off the wall with my wrist and was launched down the next couple of steps. Luckily I landed mostly on the large load of laundry which cushioned most of my fall. I also landed at a slight angle so I hit my hip and my flailing left foot hit the steps far behind me. All in all, no damage which is great considering tonight is my first day of work. More than anything I kinda wish the whole scene was recorded because I imagine it was quite comical.

8/1 - 163.5
8/2 - 162.5
8/3 - 162.5
8/4 - 163
8/5 - 162
8/6 - 161
8/7 - 160
8/8 - 160
8/9 - 160 <-- Not bad considering I ate out yesterday and didn't sleep at all last night. Excited/nervous about my job.
