pixikat and Only Believe... :LOL you 2 crack me up! Tho that coffee with the lemon peel sounds interesting.... I just squeeze a lemon (about a 5th of a lemon) in water and put alittle Pinky stuff in it (sorta sugar free lemonade)... Tho I was told (on a vacation in the Caribbean a few years ago not to use any kind of sweetner) but the lemon water does help shed water!!! I just forget about it sometimes (and I can't afford lemons right at this time and noone has a tree nearby for me to pilfer! lol) But it worked again for me!!! Down another 1/2 today Yah!

Hey ladies- about the lemon water- I don't go a day without filling my water bottle with a few slices if lemon or lime and a couple slices of cucumber! It's delicious and makes water weight and bloating disappear! Even during the dread TOM! I just keep refilling my bottle throughout the day with water and it lasts me the day

Also- I'm addicted to coffee tempted to try a lemon in it--- could be disastrous lol

Hello Mountain Mama,

Lemon will only be good in an espresso. Preferably one with crema (the beige froth on top of it. It means the grind and blend are just right.) Also, you need a citrus zester to take only the yellow part of the zest. This way, the white bitter part is out which you do not want since coffee is already bitter. This is also why you do not want lemon juice since coffee is already acidic. The oils, sweetness and tang of the yellow zest though add something to the cup.

It's a nice diversion after a fancy meal instead of dessert. Or for an afternoon energy boost while everyone else is having a cocktail.

OK, I confess to being a coffee geek.

yep, wannaskipandlaugh you need some lemon water. I must tell you it does work! I probably went over on my calories yesterday and I still lost .2
I drank about 2 and a half glasses of lemon water. The first one was wayyyyy too sour. The second one was too soft (no no not soft that's the 3 bears story) the second one was very good.. who would have thought I'd ever like lemon and water without sugar? Well that was so good I threw in the rest of the lemon from the second one and left it in the fridge.. oh my it was terrible. We need a gag and faint smiley.

Here's a face for you. Get back to losing woman! I need a cup of I may put lemon in it.

Good morning or I suppose afternoon now lol I slept in hence the late post.

Sue time for lemon water! you don't have to buy fresh lemon I use the bottle they sell in the salad area or in the juice area of the store. just make sure it says 100% lemon juice.

punkrock woot! it budged for you! hoorah! but not as much as it budged for me keep it up before I win!

mountain mama or should I say mad mountain mama? running around like a mad woman lol no worries the scale will be there tomorrow!

So yesterday i had 2 bottles of water with lemon, AND a bottle of water with LIME JUICE. Fancy-smancy! I had that one on my walk/jog excursion and it was so refreshing a mile and a half down the road in 95 degree heat! I may try some mint next time though. and the results are....
