Good Job Pixie, that is fantastic. I'm still stuck plateauing, though I think (hope/wish/pray) that I'm getting past it. Saw my lowest scale # ever on Sunday which was exciting. Sadly it didn't stick around due to TOM.

I've decided to stop doing NROLFW. I really enjoyed doing the exercises and I did feel I was getting stronger however I still have too much fat to lose. I'm also heading home in 2.5 weeks and I'd like to lose some more weight before then so I'm focusing more on Cardio. I just ordered Drop Two Sizes and when I get back to Korea I'm going to start doing that which is 12 weeks long and then I'll get back into NROLFW hopefully a bit smaller than I am now.

Oh, I've been so bad lately!

I only missed 2 days in June, but I've already missed 6 days this month. Six!! Eek. Time to recommit.

Crispin, I haven't been doing the greatest this month either. And I have the best reason to be fit, heading home after not seeing my friends and family for a year. I'm also going on a winery bike tour which scares me a bit, the last time I rode a bike outside it was not pretty.

Hello everyone, I've been absent from the internet for a while. I also took a week off from any exercise as I was having some issues and felt I needed rest. My weight has crept up a couple of pounds so now that I'm feeling able to exercise I'm getting serious again. I restarted 30 Day Shred. I won't do it 6 days a week like I did the first time but plan to do it at least 3 days/week along with other activities. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to do all of the exercises in Level 1 with 8 lb weights. That felt like a small victory since I was feeling a little down on myself for my time off.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one struggling this month, but you certainly have me beat since I missed 7 days in a row (not to mention other days here and there). We just all need to hang in there.

I also decided to put my Strong Curves workout on hold in favor of a more fat burning workout (30 Day Shred) because I feel the same way. I'm feeling a bit soft and want to shed a few more pounds before I hit the weights in a more serious way.

Maybe there's just something about July that makes exercise less appealing?

I realize for me it's because my routine changed. I had been craaaazy busy for...oh, years. But I've had way more free time the past 3 weeks. Routine changes always seem to result in me becoming a sloth. Too bad I didn't get an uncontrollable urge to fill my free time with ab exercises (that urge would surely be a sign of the apocalypse).

You may not be exactly where you want to be for your trip home, but I bet you've made amazing progress! The winery bike tour sounds like so much fun. If the bike riding doesn't go so well, you could always blame it on the booze.

Ah, thanks bunnabear. I was so mad at myself. I was even tempted to fake some entries but then I would've just been even more mad at myself for being so shady.

I think I should change my goal. I wanted to exercise 6 days a week, but I that's just not something I can sustain long-term. I think I'll drop my goal to 5.

This challenge is a great learning experience. On my own, right around now I'd probably just say, "screw it" and get super sporadic with exercise. But I want to stay in the challenge so I'm making a more reasonable adjustment. Too bad I can't make challenge threads here for my non-weight/fitness issues also haha!
