Changergirl I have a groin injury. Not sure how it happened.
I think I'm going to have to drop out of the challenge. I thought the pain would go away after a day or two but it's been five days and it still hurts.
Goal: 253lbs

I have this nice little list my sister sent me. Its like those 30 day challenges only more then one thing and it goes for 90 days so its perfect! I think just for my own personal gain I will add my weight once every 2 weeks to the timeline. That way if I am being lazy its public so itll kind of be the fire under my butt to move it!

Hmm after looking at everone elses exercises compaired to what I will be doing I am not sure mine will seem like work. Mine goes slow which I need but you guys are all doing so much! Good for you guys thats awesome. I hope I can get to where you all are. I dont have much oomph so someone please lemme know if my light stuff is okay for this challenge. It builds up to more but the first month is slow... :/
Hi, Pixie! You are most certainly very welcome here! I love the freedom we all have to do whatever routine works best for us at the moment, coupled with the camaraderie from all having the same 90 day commitment.
Besides, crunches and jumping jacks are pretty killer. One of the exercise dvds I use has a jumping jack section and I always whimper during that part (and occasionally curse).

Don't worry about that at all...it's about moving, no matter how small the steps are to start. Welcome!!!!

I'm sorry that you're going through that. Hopefully you can be cleared soon for exercise. When you get there, feel free to jump back in!
Changergirl - Wow, 4 years! Last year, I seriously considered teaching in SK for a year, but I ended up going a different route. I still may do it someday. What's your take on Korean food?
The 4 years have been a long time in some respects and have flown by in others. I thought I was heading home for good after 2 years but ended up back here because I wasn't sure what I'd do at home. Turned out for the best as a friend of mine and I started dating and we're now engaged! Because I'm Canadian and he's American it's easiest for us to stay here and save money than figure out immigration issues!!!!
I actually like Korean food for the most part. However the spice, red pepper, is in absolutely everything so it does get boring after awhile. I also eat lunch at school so it's A LOT of white rice which is slowing down my weight loss progress as I get closer to the end. I'm thinking of opting out the lunches and bringing a lower calorie option in for myself. I know a lot of people don't like the food but most of those people are pretty closed minded, which is weird since they moved to a different country with different cultural norms, so some of the stranger foods may weird them out. Like my lunch today consisted of blood sausage which I know many people won't try but I just don't think about what's actually in it!!!
Do you like kimchi? I've never had it, but when I was considering moving there I watched a lot of youtube vids from teachers there. So many mentioned it that I started craving it. I crave foods I've never even had which must be a sign of a too active imagination.
How are you all finding the challenge? There were a couple of days where I really didn't feel like exercising, but this challenge got me off my butt. Thanks again for starting this thread, bunnabear!
Mines not so bad thus far. I keep thinking 90 days is a loooonng time. But then I look and my pinterest board for my weight loss inspiration and remember it takes a long time to see results so keep going

I had that experience today. I didn't want to do anything, but the thought of logging "OFF" got me off my butt to at least do 30 mins.
