Good luck with your personal goals everyone, here's to a successful week!

I know what you mean
emula. It can seem embarrassing when you are stretching, grunting, hoping your pants aren't riding up into nether regions, praying you don't have gas and if you do, it doesn't smell, irrational fear that everyone there is judging you, feeling like a tool for not knowing how to use the machines and REALLY not wanting to ask the employee/trainer on how to use them for fear of being mocked...on and on and on.
For the longest time, I would require someone to come with me to the gym...so I wasn't alone. Heck, to be honest, I still do. I mean, I get red in the face when my husband, who has seen every square inch of me AND has been around during my most embarrassing moments (including vomitting all over him during child birth) catches me working out in the living room. SERIOUSLY?! WHY?
Because of your statement, I HAD to see what the experts say, you know, for sanity's sake and because you are NOT alone. Found a few interesting articles I thought I might share with you:

Article 2
Article 3
I'll make a deal with you. I will go to the gym...
BY MYSELF (GAHHHHHHHHH!
)....today....if you will go and see about that membership. It is seriously important to point out that I have never done that. But I'll do it, for you, if you'll go.
