My goal? to be at GOAL (160) fit - as fit as I've ever been and I WILL wear a bikini... probably only for myself and probably never in public, but just to get to the best shape and weight I can be in and just to DO IT!....
How's everyone doing on the day American's consume the most sweets out of any day of the year (even Halloween)?
I told my hubs no sweets this year. Flowers- fine, power bars- fine, new water bottle-fine
Our neighbor left us some yummy chocolates this morning and I haven't touched them. I can't do the... oh I'll just have one thing. I haven't gotten to that form of will power yet.
My dh have me a really nice ceramic travel coffee mug, really colorful flowers.... And mike and ike's! I had a few, then put the box up. I made up for it by getting done really healthy food for our groceries!
Today will be the 3rd day doing the c25k program. I have lost about 3lbs all ready.
This is going VERY slowly..only down .2 for the week even though I kept within my calories every day but one. Missed a few days at the gym due to the blizzard. Hope next week is better!
Slow here too but that's what I'm expecting especially this month. V-day wasn't a problem but this weekend, next weekend, and the 27-M2 are more problematic (out of town and the last bit in Vegas). As close as I can figure I stayed in my points yesterday. I did make brownies for DD to take to school on V-day but that was what saved me.... sent them all away. I had probably about a teaspoon full of brownie crumbs, lol. Couldn't even clean up the pan if I'd wanted because I used foil to line it and it was very clean (did get rid of the foil quickly though).
Good job luvcats! Brownies are a big weakness of mine!
I'm still at 184, had a bit too much salt this weekend, but my plan is to reach 182 by next Monday. I can do this! We all can!
I just went back to my original post and I realized I didn't write in my actual starting weight which was 87 kg or 191.4 pounds. Since then I officially have gotten out of the 190s which is always difficult for me. I'm now right around my lowest adult weight, 189.4. I usually can't get past 187 so I'm going to be very anxious these next few weeks. I can't wait to see 185.

Wll I had a horrible 4 day weekend. We had weekend guests and lots of salty and sweet treats... Weigh in this morning had me up 3 lbs! I am going to reweigh later in the week hoping it is mostly water retention.
Still good here save no exercise yesterday... was traveling and then too tired (and house started out waaay cold at 51 when we got home) to exercise once home and we left too early to start. That is the first day I've missed in around a month though. Food went well. Stayed OP the whole time I was gone. Next challenge is to get past this coming weekend (my parent's 50th anniversary). I know I will be eating cake. Will try to stay way low on other points though. If I can get to next Tuesday without a gain I'll be ecstatic, lol. Then comes Vegas... yi yi yi. Did lose 2# over the last week though.
Saw 183 yesterday- getting closer and closer. I am trying really hard to see 182 by Monday's weigh in. My goal is 181 by next Thursday. I think I can, I think I can
Back down to just above my plateau weight. Umm...yay? Anyway, I'm hoping if I'm really really good this week, I won't have to see 164.0 for the nine hundredth time on the scale. *fingers crossed*
I'm so glad I saw this challenge! Count me in. By July 1 I'd like to reach 140 lbs and am currently 26.2 pounds away. At one point on my journey I reached 143 lbs. but have gained some weight back. My goals for this challenge are:
Stay hydrated
Improve my running. I'm already a competent runner but I know I can be better. Dropping pounds will only help both in terms of speed and "ease, and also taking stress off my wonky right ankle.
Track my weight progress using my iPhone app "Monitor Your Weight"
Take weekly progress pictures
Log food
Lose the "too snug" feeling some of my clothes have
You can count me in as well. Right now I am starting at 250 and just had my 3rd child last week. My goal is to be down to 230 by the 4th of July. The other goals that I have are to be more consistent with drinking water, tracking calories, and I would also like to start running in the next 4 months.
As for me, up just slightly (less than a pound) after the weekend with cake and other goodies at my parent's 50th. Really not too bad I can't complain. Yesterday I was OP and today I am going to be. Tomorrow-Saturday I am off to Vegas! Lol I'm going to pay attention to my hunger and walk! I'm also going to enjoy the food I want. I know I'll pay in the next week or 2 but I'm going to get right back to it when I get home. Have a great week everyone!!
