Hello all....I need a support and motivational group to help me get to my goal in time for my birthday!
Challenge is to loose 30lbs by July 13th It may not sound like a lot to some of you but it's a true challenge for me. So please come take the challenge with me and help me celebrate my birthday
I'll join!!!! I lost some today but I won't count it. I'm 273 now so I need to be 243 for your birthday. BUT I would like to lose more...maybe 60lbs by then!
WOOH I'll come back to report each loss. We can do this.
I'll join in, although also hoping I will be lower than 30 lbs by then. But I will hit my 6 months on 7/6. Last time, I only lasted 6 months and then stopped posting here, and stopped staying on plan and put back about 60 of the 65 lbs I had lost.
So this is a great time frame for me, because that next week after my 6 month anniversary is a perfect goal to commit to - to prove to myself that I am NOT going to stop at 6 months this time!
Of course I'd like to join! 30 pounds would put me past my next goal of 230lb, but I'd really like a little more (if I'm allowed to be greedy). I'm going to shoot for 60 pounds (that would make me 193 lb)
Ill join too! 30 pounds would put me at 200, but I would like to be at least 190 or even less by then.
Mzlissy, I need motivation and support too, so post away. I will try to be here as much as I can.
Well I haven't postdating since I joined, LOL. Lets see if we can get this thread going and keep us motivated. 41 days ago when I joined this challenge I was 230. Today I am 215. That's about 2 lbs. a week. If I can keep to at least a pound a week I will be happy. My only issue is I fell and hurt my knee ten days ago and still cant use it well, so my exercise has been pretty low. Hopefully by Monday I can get back on treadmill at least.
I started this challenge at 253, I'm now 237.4 pounds! It has seemed so slow coming off, but looking back at it I've come a long ways!! Summer, and MZLISSY's birthday, here we come!!!
I would LOVE to join this challenge, but honestly I have a REAL hard time staying motivated with such long challenges, this not ending until July could be a real hard one for me. :\ But I do want to give it a shot. Though I may aim for more of 20lbs, not 30 at this point...
So right now I am 181, I would LOVE to be down to 160 by July... or even more. I just am trying to get started now, so I don't know and I don't want to set myself up for failure..

Looks like a lot of people aren't weighing in?... Maybe we can come up with another way to be more in touch and everything? Any ideas?
