so here we are at December--wow--this year has flown by!
I lost 4 lbs in November--so I am now at 234--and I am very on track right now and aiming to lose another 8 in December.
Got my walk in by the skin of my teeth yesterday--still havent found my rainjacket. everytime I started to go out for a walk it would start to rain. so I decided to run errands. as i walked out the door the rain stopped. I got home in twilight but it wasnt raining so I grabbed the dog and we got out there.
Glad to hear from you Lishar!
Mama--I am with you on the evening snacking. I am working on no eating after dinner and am gargling with strong mouthwash after I brush my teeth to help that. I think that will make a big difference to my weight loss and my maintenance when I am where I want to be.
Learning: if you can at least maintain this weekend that will be great--and get right back on track when she leaves. you can do it!!

I like having a weekly write in. Its not that I am keeping score its just really nice to see the progress I am making. Even if its slow its still progress. Some weeks I get so frustrated that I am not losing. If I look back I can see that I have lost weight it really helps me.
So here goes. Starting weight 225, Goal 199 (Onederland) total loss goal 26lbs in 18wks. We will see if that happens.
1) Nov 25- 225lbs
2) Dec 2- 223.4lbs
3) Dec 9-224.6lbs (not a good week)
4) Dec 16 221.8lbs
5) Dec 23 218.6lbs
6) Dec 30 222lbs (I did go up to 224)
7) Jan 6 218lbs
8) Jan 13 217.4lbs
9) Jan 20 215.4lbs
10) Jan 27
11) Feb 3
12) Feb 10 213.6lbs (its been a bad few weeks)
13) Feb 17
14) Feb 24 211lbs (down 14lbs)
15) March 3
16) March 10
17) March 17
18) March 24
(I know its March 20th but I will keep the weigh in on Sun/Mon)
You have done so great with your weight loss, you go girl!!
Thanks -- but it's slow. Calculated it at 2/3 lb a week this year. Didn't even do the math on the first ten pounds, which took 2 years. I should be embarrassed but I feel if I go slow I have more success compared to earlier attempts.
I cannot believe how much Thanksgiving gets me out of sorts. In order to keep my spring goal in my sights, I know that I need to get tough.
1. Stick to my calories goal without adding exercise calories back in.
2. 3 kettlebells workouts per week, 2 jogs or hour-long walks per week, 3 free-weight arms workouts per week, 5 15m. yoga sessions per week.
I invite everyone to post their pre-New Year's resolutions, so that we can reach our goals! (if you wanna...)
RVA, I like how you spelled out your goals. I'm realizing there's a BIG difference between what's in my head and what actually happens.

I'm still counting cals and exercising, but no weight loss for a couple of weeks now. Mountain Momma, I'm having the same problem. Let's keep going. >>>>
Thanks, Mountain Mamma! I've only been excluding my exercise from my calorie counting app for the past two days, but so far, it's helped. It's all psychological, with me. Same with listing out the specifics of my exercise plan. It works differently for different people, of course!
lost another lb today--weight loss has picked up a little--dont know if it because I have been really careful about being precise about what I eat, the green coffee extract I started taking or I am just getting off a plateau--maybe a bit of all.
