Hello everyone!
The end of September took me by surprise! I never met my goals for the month but I'm totally and completely happy that I had started moving again after having the baby. My blood pressure is down without having to take the medication the doctor prescribed and my endurance while out and about has improved drastically. On Saturday we went to Maybury State Park by our house and did a wonderful 3 mile walk. We had the baby and the dogs out for that one. Then last night we did a 1 1l2 mile walk around our neighborhood. Again we had everyone out there. Tonight my Mom watched the baby while I took the dogs on the same walk. Nate is out of town for business until the end of the week so I'm on my own for walking. I've also started using the app My Fitness Pal to track my calories. So far I'm doing great and not depriving myself of anything I want. Hopefully all of this combined with help me get rid of the baby weight and get me ready for wedding dress shopping. We started planning and I have a little over a year to slim down.

Crap. After 13 solid weeks of no injury, I finally have my first. My back went out this morning. Boy does it hurt like h@ll!!! I took a muscle relaxer and I'm using a heat pack now and rest is the order for the remainder of the day. I'll try to make up my weight training and jogging days later in the week. I need a healing and quick!

angieand2girls: take care of yourself! Everyone's different, but what works for me is Naproxen and ice packs -- both reduce the inflammation which seems to help me heal faster. Also, I heal faster now that I'm in better shape, so hopefully you'll see that effect!
