I get a lot more enjoyment out of the exercise side to being healthy than the diet side. I'm in

only two takers? Guess I'll have to go pimp this challenge out somewhere...

I love the idea of this challenge! I'd definitely join, except due to some medical issues I'm afraid my current fitness goals aren't going to be up to par with apocalypse survival. I'd be the person left behind as a distraction for the zombies while everyone else gets a head start.
Alright, LET'S DO THIS! I have my Zombie Survival Kit Lunchbox and I have my list of rules
RULE #1 - CARDIO - CHECK! Zumba 4x a week
Include in first post:
WL Goal: I would like to be 150 for my Birthday (DECEMBER 21st!)
Fitness Goal: Run a 5K
bug-out plan: run and hide or stay and FIGHT! - STAY AND FIGHT DUH. My Son has been hard at work creating Zombie Apocalypse weaponry.
I did 40min cardio and 35min weights: Shoulders Calves and Core
I workout exclusivly to DVD's below is a more detailed discription.
I tried KCM's Cardio Quick Fix premix that combines workouts 1 & 2. Sadly, 'mind-numbingly boring' is the best phrase I can come up with. Workout 1 is low impact and more like a overly long warmup, while 2 is more interval or HIIT fashion, but we do the same move for so long, I started making up other moves just to keep interested. I'm a big fan of 'easy choreo cardio' but this just wasn't much fun. Then I added Cathe's 4DS Shoulders Calves and Core but since I want to be able to walk tomorrow I skipped the second set of calves.

LETS DO THIS RAWR!
ROAR! My son has also been working on his weaponry (he's 11), most recently he found an aluminum bar somewhere and when I found him he was using a rock to pound the tip into a point so he could make a spear. It looked quite dangerous. So I took it form him and put in near my baseball bat in the hall closet. What he doesn't know might save his life someday. You know...when I use it to slow down a brain hangry zombie.
WEEKEND CHALLENGE ALERT Run a timed mile (treadmill, track, trail, where ever) post your time on Monday.
I did this last night on a treadmill and got 14:56 (I was really dying but was trying so hard to stay under 15, lol!). On saturday I'm going to go out to the park and run it on a trail to see if the real world feel of running improves my time.
Cool! I will definitely do the weekend challenge. I just recently have been able to run a mile without walking. Normally around 11 - 12 min. I didn't realize there would be little challenges within this challenge, and I love it!
