Hey everyone!
So motivating to see so many people working towards their goals and some of you are even almost done... awesome! I've had a few rough nights with the little one but tonight she finally fell asleep and stayed asleep long enough for me to do my 1 Mile workout & sign on here to report about it. Gatorgirl - I haven't been on a bike since I was in middle school as well and now I'm seriously considering getting one. How fun would that be taking family bike rides next summer?!? Angie - I've heard about the small bike seats in spin class before. Perhaps once this bottom is smaller I'll try it out for myself. It seems like it would be fun but I could do without the pain.
So like I said, I managed to get a work out in tonight. Day1/Week3 I'm going to try and squeeze one or two more work outs in before next week. What I need to do this weekend is take one of my handy dandy 20% off Bed Bath and Beyond coupons down to the store and buy myself a nice scale. I haven't been weighed since the week after I had the baby and the last thing I want is for that number to start creeping up instead of going down... and down... and down some more. StNessa - You should definitely get a bike, but make sure you are comfortable on it. You will never ride it if it makes you uncomfortable. I am currently trying to convince my sister and dad to get bikes so that we can go on family bike rides. It would/will be awesome.

Over the weekend I saw a bike that I want. We decided next spring we're both going to get bikes and a seat for the baby so we can go out together. I'm excited because it sounds like a great way to spend time together and be active! Tomorrow Nate is going to ride his bike to work. His first attempt since we've moved to Michigan. I'm proud of him for working on that goal. It's not only good for him but also the environment and our budget!
As for me I did a lot of walking over the weekend. We did a lot of shopping & a street festival. Tomorrow I'm joining a group of new moms for a mall walk. Then the group is walking on Friday at a local state park & next Thursday at the Detroit Zoo. I'm looking forward to meeting new people & having a group of women that are facing the same battle as me: figuring out this whole mother thing!
As for my at home work outs I did the first work out on Cindy Crawford's after pregnancy DVD. I can tell already I'm going to struggle but I did it & will continue to do it.
