This morning I let myself off the hook and decided I wasn't going to the gym. I did go shopping and I saw that I am reducing in size. So exciting. Well, by the end of the day, I felt like I should work out so I did a 2 mile jog to my parents house. We are going to have a family game night. (Yes, I am 24 and my sister is 27, but we still have family game night with our parents. We are adorable. )

Goal: 120 mi
9/06: 2 mi jog
Total: 25 mi
Left: 95 mi

gardenerjoy: Thanks for asking.

It is still quite tight. However, I have stretched a TONNE and taken a day off. Just went for a walk. I don't want to make things worse off. So hopefully tomorrow things will be better and I can be back into things! That said, I've done the first 3 days of Insanity and one run.

Not that I want to use excuses, but I do want to heal up a bit before I go full blown again.

I count this more of a day off, but I swam 76 laps in my pool today. I calculated that it was .5 mi. Not a huge help on the monthly goal, but it is always good to move.

Goal: 120 mi
9/0: 0.5 mi swim
Total: 25.5 mi
Left: 94.5 mi

Last night I was so tired (thanks to my baby keeping me up at night) that I took the night off but tonight I made it a point to do my 1 Mile Walk Away the Pounds. Again my legs were burning but I'm pushing through. When I think of the work outs I did pre-baby... ugh! But my goal is to get back to that point and lose the 40 pounds of baby weight. Tonight was a treat though. We went out to eat with some friends that were in town. (We recently moved to Michigan from Chicago) For the first time in months we had a bit of a social life! It was nice to get dressed and put on make up. Slowly but surely I'm starting to feel normal again

Orr - take care of yourself. No one would fault you for listening to your body and taking it easy.

Good job to everyone who has been posting some great work outs. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter how long or how intense it was, it's the fact that you got up and got moving that matters

Happy weekend to everyone!

Day 3 Week 1

Sally Pineapple, I love your idea for overall movement. I think that's what I'm trying to achieve with my fitness minutes. There are days where I don't do a "formal" workout but I walk to work and back home. Yet for some ridiculous reason I didn't feel like that kind of movement counted. It absolutely does! Just because I'm not in workout clothes or dripping with sweat doesn't mean I haven't helped my body or extended it in any beneficial way.

Thanks again for posting your plan

Great job everyone! I find all your efforts so inspirational! Per my usual, I'm re-editing my original post for each of my workouts instead of posting individual workouts.
