Default June 2012 "On Plan" Challenge - Daily Check In - Everyone is Welcome

Our main goal on this thread is to stay ON PLAN (or OP for short) whatever weight loss plan we're following. Everyone is welcome to join in (the more the better)! Let's all get June off to a great start and have great results to report at the end of the month. WE CAN DO IT!!!

June 2012 Challenge:

1. Stay ON PLAN the month. Challenge yourself to be OP with your eating for 30 days. Be sure to come here to the board if you feel like you are going to go off-course and need some support!
2. Set a weight loss goal only if you feel comfortable doing so.
3. Set a goal of how many days you’d like to do some form of exercise every week.
4. Set a goal of how many days you’re going to VISIT THE THREAD and check in with us. The accountability is important and a great way to stay on track.

Anything else you’d like to track here for the month, please do so! Feel free to track your daily eating, daily exercising...anything you'd like! We are here for each other because we're all here for a common goal: to be healthy, fit and happy!!

Let's all see how much fat we can get rid of this month

I hope you all have a great month!

I really let things slide in the last 2 weeks of May. Back on track! Again.

1. eating back on track
2. exercise
3. check in daily

I feel getting my eating on track in the most important. Once I let my eating slide everything else seems to become less important also.

All week I've been looking forward to today so that I could get out in the yard but its soaking wet out there, and Mr Sun is hiding behind clouds. Why are you hiding when I need you? Yesterday you were happy to blaze down on everything?? Well, I'll work on cleaning out my sewing room for a few hours and re-assess. My sewing room has become a dumping ground. Walk in , dump, and leave. I keep thinking I'll put something up later. I guess its later.

Hi and welcome Mia. I hope we all have a great month. I look forward to hearing about your successes during the month.

Penguin - I'm with you. I just want to have a full month where I'm 100% OP every day! Let's challenge each other to do it this month.
I hope the rain clears so that you can get out in the yard. I've been a yard junkie lately too. It's so much fun when everything is in bloom and the butterflies & hummingbirds are fluttering all around in the garden.

Have a great weekend ladies.

I've been slacking on my plan as of late . . . need to stop that.

1. Actually count the calories everyday.
2. Stay under 1500 cals/day 5 days week.
3. Be down a solid 5 lbs by July 1.
4. Keep up the 6 day a week exercise routine.

I went outside for a while but its cold & wet. Tomorrow looks better so I mixed up my schedule again to clean house today and leave tomorrow open for gardening. I worked on my sewing room for a little while, also.

Welcome Mia, x5, and Loose Seal. Glad to see some new and returning members.

We went to bed at the usual time of midnight, then I woke at 4am, laid in bed {err, tossed and turned} until 5am, got up read for a while, knitted for a while, then Hubby got up and left for work. So I guess I''m up for the day. Don't I sound thrilled??

I did much better with my eating yesterday than I have previously. I'm still doing the exchange food plan. After cleaning the house I made vegan stir fry for dinner. Then we did a bit of shopping {the dog needed food! She's so demanding!} I've started making a fruit/yogurt shake for us as a snack at night, one of the few ways I can get Hubby to eat either ingredient, but I'm not a big yogurt fan either.

Ok, my June goal starts today.

Yesterday wasn't bad but had one slice pizza for dinner and two pieces of blueberry coffee cake that I had made. Only had a lean cuisine pizza w/added veggies prior to that. So overall not the worst but again, slipped into 'not counting the calories' mode. STOP THAT!!! lol

Today will be OP... especially considering the fact that I just got up at 10:30. Haven't slept in that late in ages and ages.

Have a good day all!

After church we went to my parents house so Dad and Hubby could work on Dad's project Mustang; they put the transmission in. It was too hot for a walk, so Mom and I did a little shopping at a local mall, then watched HGTV until time to grill hamburgers for dinner {I only ate half of mine so I have it for tomorrow}. She made brownies for dessert, but she cuts them into tiny 1x1.5 pieces so you feel like you've eaten a lot but only eaten two. We just got home and we are tired, and the dog is hungry again!
