I have spent all of June on 'vacation' in Virginia Beach to visit with family and friends before the big move to Texas. The next month will be packing and prepping to move, then we move the first weekend of August... but the good news is, we've arranged for a POD, so storage and such will be a breeze.

Mandy I'm glad you had a great vacation and got to spend time wih family & friends before your move.

Penguin - great job on your weights.

It's so hard but I am sticking to it. I didn't get my workout in because I twisted my knee this afternoon and I didn't want to make it worst. Hopefully, it will be okay tomorrow.

I did 45min of Plyo cardio today. Hubby texted that he had to preform a 'surprise' inspection today so will be late again. I just realized I forgot about the bread dough in the oven...Oooops!

Hubby was only 30min late so that was nice. I tried to make hot dog buns out of the part of the dough, they didn't turn out well, more like crunchy dog treats. Sigh. We found some turkey hot dogs with no preservatives, which are very good. I didn't realize they were turkey until I'd eaten a few. Hubby picked them out.

I just looked at my join date and realized June is my anniversary for joining 3FC.

Knitting meeting this AM, then my parents are taking me to lunch, and perhaps some shopping. Kettlebells for later.

Good morning ladies,

Penguin - Enjoy your lunch date with your parents.

I'm working on day 3 OP and it's going well. I got up and did a workout before work this morning and was so proud of myself.

Mandy - I hope you're doing okay.

Funny story: I send Hubby a text telling him about my workouts. Today's read "I did 45min of Kettlebells"

H: "after all you did earlier?"

"What did I do earlier?" {I've been sitting all day!}

"The other day...you did kbells"

"That was Tuesday...This is today!"

I should point out Hubby doesn't exercise. And unlimited texts exist to drive each other nuts.

Good morning and Happy Friday!

Penguin - great job on your workouts!

Yesterday was my 3rd day back OP. Today should be pretty easy. Tonight might be a little harder because I tend to want to snack on the weekend. I will come here and post if needed to keep me on track.

Have a great OP day Penguin!

Today is housecleaning day, and I get to brush April's teeth; the 'doggie breath' is getting out of hand...or paw! Planning some cardio today. I was thinking kbox until I realized this is the day I clean house so it may be more like a Leslie. No brain or back required.

Hubby and I are both stress eaters. When we got upset by something that happened yesterday, we tried to talk about it, then ended up in a fight. I wanted to make a pan of brownies but settled on two cookies. So kinda a win there, credit for not making the brownies anyway!

Gettin, stay strong. Post as often as you need to!

Hello Penguin & Mandy,

Mandy - Last night my workout consisted of dancing. It got my heart rate up and I worked up a sweat so I'm counting it as exercise

I made it through yesterday OP. Hopefully, today will be a success too.

I am booked on a 7 day cruise with a group of friends at the end of Nov but now some of us girls decided we're going on a 4 day "girls getaway" cruise. My goal is to drop 25 pounds by then. We leave on Oct 4 so 25 pounds is doable if I stay focused. I am very motivated because I don't want to be one of the "fat" ones in the group. I'd like to drop 35 by the cruise in Nov. I MUST stay focused & committed.

I hope you ladies have a great Saturday

Today's Journal

B: V8, 1 oz cheese, coffee
L: Salad, sandwich w/RF ham on rye
D: TBD
S:
Exercise: Hip Hop Abs or Firm

Can you believe tomorrow will be July?

I had a hard time sleeping last night. I felt like a kid who gets to go to Disneyland the next day, my head was racing and I was all excited? I have no idea why, because nothing exciting will happen today. Around 3AM I decided to try to sleep again and managed to sleep for a while but kept waking up. I did put my night hours to good use. I knitted a sleeveless sweater last fall, and started a sleeve for it last night.

I never did the cardio but I did get April's teeth brushed and the house cleaned.

Gettin, your 'girls cruise' sounds like a great idea. I'm sure you will have a great time, and meet your goal.

Mandy, count your dancing! Anything that gets me off the couch counts!
