welcome we are all here for eachother.

I had several things on superbowl sunday that i have not been eating but come monday i was back on track and then today ive done well too. Made it to the gym to walk and swim. Always feel refreshed and energetic after a work out.

Hang in girls. Sunday weigh in will be here before we know it.

Default Feeling Proud

So after recommiting to ATkins this week I am down three pounds and have not had one glass of wine all week..which for me is big..being a single mom of a very demanding 4 year old is hard. I know if I can make it through this weekend without any wine (son having sleepover this Friday) then I know I can make it through to Vegas on 4-16-12 which is my mom's 65th Birthday and I so can't wait. If I can stick it out 100% committed I know I will lose at least 20 lbs if not more. Plus the dog training is coming to help my puppy walk in a lease which would be great to walk him every night. Hope everyone has a great hump day.

Buckaustink good job on the wine. I enjoy a glass in the evening too and its good to go without sometimes. it will show your hard work when you weigh in next time... good job!

Default New Snack Find

Kraft Tomato Basil string cheese less than 1 gram of carbs and so good..I chopped it up with a Tomato and cucumber and add some greek vinegatte..yummy

Late getting my weigh in posted.... Been busy volunteering at my kids school. I weighed in on Monday and here are my stats

But I weighed myself today and I am down to 248.6!! Yeah, I've lost my 1st 10lbs(started at the beginning of Jan.) and I am under 250lbs YEAH!!

So it's day three no wine tonight and stuck to low carbs...snuck in two hersey kisses and then a nice hot bath and now a good read....can't wait to see what the scale tells me tomorrow....

No reason to cover it up. We have all experienced a day or week like that and admitting it is, in my opinion, the only way to learn from it and do better. I have had a lifetime of hiding what I really ate and hiding my weight from everyone. That's what I love about 3FC. You can be as open or as private as you want it to be, but I have already learned the consequences of hiding from the truth. We don't judge eachother and we have an understanding of what each one of us is going through and how hard this journey is. What is motivating me this week is that I do NOT want to report back on Sunday or Monday with another bad week. So far so good

Welcome to those of you who joined this week. Here's to a great week! (lil late I know). I am hoping after this week and maybe half of next week, things might not be so crazy at work and I can post more frequently. I like to check in on the daily usually.

Tontus94 - Congrats on the 10lb loss and getting under 250. It's great reaching a milestone like that...keep up the great work!!

Buckaustink - That tomato basil string cheese sounds de-lish. Thanks for the suggestion. I have been buying the mini babybel lights and bring one to work for a snack around 10:30. I love them!

Curious.....what do you all use for artificial sweetners?? I elminated sugar from my daily coffee and green tea fix but got used to the taste of Splenda. I have heard how bad it is and recently tried Stevia. Not loving the taste but I figured I might just have to get used to it like I did with Splenda.

Default Another Great Day

So last night is usally my chill night since my son stays with my mom. My usual routine is to enjoy some wine and cheese. Well last night the dog trainer came to work with my 9 month old lab. We took him walking for the first time ever. We walked twice around my block and my block is huge..after the first half a lap my lower back was killing me as it has for weeks now with all the extra weight I am carrying around but we had to push through and I walked him the 2nd round and man it was hard..trying to keep him under control and keep a consesnt pace. I am happy to say both me and the dog were tired an no wine passed my lips..another lb down this morning and I am in ketosis..Hoping to walk him everyday. Have a great day everyone
