Woot! Woot! for sprints and skinny jeans!!!!

Down 1 pound but still far from returning to goal. It's ok, like we've said before if we can't live with the lifestyle changes we're making to lose the weight then we won't be able to keep it off.

Good luck with your weigh-ins and the week ahead.

Pledged: 2
Lost: 4.2
New Pledge: 1

I am pretty thrilled with my loss, but am also pretty sure that it was partially bc I was on my TOM last weigh-in so I lost all of my bloat weight. Whatever, I'll take it! I am going to get back on weight lifting hard this week, so I am anticipating my losses will slow back down.

I am getting to the point where people around me are telling me I only need to lose 5-10 more pounds and are trying to talk me out of my goal weight. I will not listen to these naysayers and will stick to my plan. Life is so much more fun these days.

pledged 1.5/ lost 1.9/pledge .5

Lost all the gained weight plus .4! Gotta love that. Not expecting much from this week except bloat. We shall see.

I've decided before I spend more money on the full gym access I have to prove to myself that I will stick with it for one month. So for a one month I'm going to do body weight exercises and use the few weights I have here to build strength. If I do strength exercises 2 to 3 times a week for a month then I will upgrade to the full gym membership.

I'm about 2 lbs behind on my Fabulous by Forty timeline. Not sure what to do about that. I do know if I continue missing my goal by 2 lbs each month I will be 10 lbs away from my goal and that is not ok. Changes must be made.

Morning All!

Still here Sumnerfan. Good work on your loss this week! Keep going. Maybe lifting some weights will help you get back on your fit to 40 plan!

Anon-Great job with your loss! You know what you are doing, just listen to your body and see what makes you happy. I knew when I hit my goal weight the first time around. I was happy with myself and felt incredibly fit.

Of course with the Super Bowl I did some snacking, but I also got off my butt-er and went for a walk yesterday since I knew I would be sitting watching the game all night.

Have a good new day to the week all!

@sumner & jaytee & anon - great job!

I gained a bunch but I was super sore when I stepped on the scale. I refuse to count that :-)

What happened to our thread?

I have been AWOL due to illness, but now I check in, and find a lot of us are gone?

Where is everyone?

I haven't been around the forum at all since last week, but in truth I haven't been checking in here as much as I used to even when I am around. No matter how hard I fight my weight simply goes nowhere (except up!) when I'm on the hormone treatments. I followed my plan for my daily calorie deficit religiously the past few weeks and on paper I reached my goal last week (right now I should be sitting at about 146.5 lbs). Instead I was at 154.5 lbs this morning, which is a full 4 lbs higher than I was on Friday morning. These past ~2.5 months have been incredibly frustrating for me in regards to weight loss (not to mention other issues), but this isn't a place where I feel like I can/should talk about that struggle. It's not what people are here to read/discuss, and that's perfectly fine, but for me the IVF is central to my life right now. And weight loss and IVF apparently do not go together, despite my continued attempt to do both at the same time! So, I just don't feel like I have much to say/don't feel like I can participate with the same level of energy in this thread when I'm unable to lose weight no matter what I do.

Anyway, I did add my info to the spreadsheet on Sunday, and I'll continue to do so because I like being accountable. I just don't have a lot to say in the thread lately. When I'm feeling less grumpy, I'm sure I'll be chattier again.

Congratulations to those who posted losses from last week, and I hope everyone else is doing well.

I haven't stepped on the scale since mid-January and I'm loving it. I was letting that number dictate how I felt about myself and all my achievements every day of my life. That was not a place I wanted to be. I know that my body is still healthy and fit because I've actually gone down a size in my pants from early January. The trainer I'm working with has made me see that at this point, I'm not likely to see many more weight changes. But I am seeing body composition changes and that's all that really matters.

It's so freeing to JUST LIVE the new healthy life that I've worked so hard to achieve.

Peanutt- I'm with you on how liberating it can be to stuff the scale in the closet for a bit. Congrats on moving from tracking the lifestyle to living it.

Sarge, Anon, sumner- Way to go on the losses.

I'm still here, just checking in a lot less. Wednesday my boss dropped into my work site and asked me to take over for him. So until the end of Feb I'm district supervisor for a multi-site maintenance crew and on call 24/7.

Right now my body is very confused. I worked out a lot and gained almost 6 pounds, then dropped a lot of exercise and lost almost 7 pounds. I have no idea what's going on.

But today is my 1 year weight loss anniversary. 1 year ago today I weighed 265.4 pounds, couldn't run 60 seconds without being horribly out of breath. Push ups were out of the realm of possibility. Today I am 205 pounds, can run 5K regularly, and have done 100 push ups in 1 day.

Here's to another year.

I am here, I am alive.

I work for the legislation during the session and it gets intense. I work 3 to whenever the boss decides to turn the lights off. It can get pretty late, so my sleep patterns are all screwy.

I joined an anytime fitness gym that is local and I am doing my c25k with a 5% incline and running at 5mph now. I have been keeping up but not on my posting. My apologies.

Awesome Sindaena!!! Congratulations.

I've been a bum these last 3 days. I did get up for a 4 mile jog this morning. Whooo, I feel like I have a ton of energy now.
