Pokey can see Onderland from her back yard! RSVPS for her soon to be party! (push ups in her honor?)

Jeanettey- Awesome awesome awesome lady! Congrats on the 1st to 20 pounds and the 77 on plan days. You rock!

K^2- Glad you enjoyed your kickboxing class.

Celrae- That is a great attitude to have with an MIA workout buddy. Keep meltin butt-er!

Sarge- Loved the certificate and thanks for the number crunchin!

I've been hanging around here for 2 weeks now and I'm a little worried. When I was working out this evening I swear I heard Sarge in my head. It was something along the lines of "Do you ever want to see 217 on the scale again? No? Then quit your ****in, get back down there and give me 25 more push ups!"

....*salutes* 25 more push ups sir!

Great work Thinsole and Rainbow!

I agree about Sarge as well. I was thinking of quitting at 2500yds on my double dip swim today, but Sarge was in my head yelling at me to get to 3000 yards and stop complaining, lol

Yep, never have troubles hearing Sarge yelling at me when I want to give up.

I watched TBL while running and biking and I gotta say extra HOTTIE alert!! Woooo! Especially the last guest on the show made me pedal even harder to see if I can reach him. I might have to keep that episode for some sweaty gym day dreaming ;-)

Howdy Platoon,

I'm back! Had a fantastic weekend. I got my new elliptical put together yesterday. I love it but man is it hard. My legs feel like jelly for hours afterwards. So my first goal is to work up my endurance and improve my time on it. I am very glad we all did so good last week. Thank you for the congrats on the race to 20 lbs and the 77 cheat free days. I am very proud of it. Hope you all have a great week losers!!!

Black ops strong

Because I have jelly legs this week,

Jeanettey's mid-week challenge is

Armed for Duty

Tricep extensions, Tricep chest press, Shoulder raises,

Front shoulder raises, Deltoid press, Split stance bicep curles,

Kettlebell arm swings

You choose the weight and the reps you do.

Remember the point is to safely challenge yourself.

You have Tuesday thru Saturday to accomplish it.

I'll have to do the Jeanety challenge this week... just ... later...

My arms... they are so sore. I don't know how people bench press 100-200lbs... I struggled with 40....... God I'm weak. My arms, they scream at me and say scary things and threatened to run away....

I know I've been saying I'll go to the gym for a MONTH now. I always found an excuse not to go, or I really couldn't go (not my fault it was shut down for maintenace!) Well, I finally went! I learned 3 important things:
1) I need to bring extra makeup for after the work out
2) I never realized how red my face really turned when working out
3) I can really run fast. 2 miles, 10 minutes baby! Of course... I died at 9 minutes and really struggled getting in the last minute and pushed to hit the 2 mile marker (It was really like 10 minutes an 11 seconds.....).

Fitocracy points on that running record! W00t Next I'm going for my 5K. I guess I was in more shape than I thought. Who knew? That's what the machine said 2 miles... 10 minutes 11 seconds... I knew I got on there and booked it (it wasn't a treadmill but one of those step things that you run on sort of... I have no idea what it was called). I was booking it on there as fast as I could go... when I hit a mile I got like a second wind of cheer and wanted to go for a full 5K but I really didn't think about pacing myself. I'm still going over in my head that I couldn't have been going THAT fast, but that's what the machine said... apparently I had done 10 laps on it's setting for glutes and 2 miles... I'm trying it on a Treadmille next to see if I can do that twice or even hit the mile in under 4 minutes for 1200 fitocracy points.

Gyms on Monday mornings (unless I have meetings with my career services, I'm really trying to get an internship and get all my ducks in a row for graduating). Gym on Tuesday and Thursdays. Shred on any day I honestly have time. I want 5x a week, but sadly I think it will be more like 3x a week. I have so much home work when I get home, my dog needs a lot more attention these days (I'll have to be putting him down soon...T.T), and I'm fighting room mates for the TV). At least gym will be 3x a week for AT LEAST an hour each time. ^.^

Hey platoon I got another email today from one of the support crew for the platoon trek around the world. He is Navy Seal CPO A J Hallas. He sent some more pictures too. I thought you might like it if I passed along his updates.

A J Hallas here, The platoon is doing great. Last weekend they made it to the 2nd under water hotel and got to have some fun. Then today they had a real shark day. We spotted a school of hammer head sharks. It was amazing and thrilling. They left quickly though when bruce came back around and got a little too close for comfort. The extraction team had to remove the swimmers to the shore ship that came in earlier that morning. The swimmers were not to upset by the early extration though when they saw the evenings accommidations. Bruce hung around all evening and has been acting very aggresive but the platoon enjoyed a beautiful sunset before turning in. More later, CPO A J Hallas.

kurisitaru, nice going on that running, I have mad envy for people who can run, I absolutely despise it. Regarding the bench press, I struggled with it at first too, then I made corrections to my form and it was much easier.

Bench press technique and common mistakes.
And some videos.

Good Morning Troops!

Hitting the gym, double dips, Jeanettey Challenge and an extra 25 push ups! Whooo.

Keep it going!
I have a run today. I'll be back to report in that I did it.

That's the poster I need. Oy! No laziness awards for me. I am going to get it done.
