Kim, thank you so much! I'm really happy if my situation helped you make your decision. It's tough, but 3FC really helps keep all of us motivated!
It's finals week, so I'm hanging tough and resisting mindless snacking while studying. Trying to workout as much as possible--it keeps me sane when I'm stressed! Have a great week everyone!

I seem to have caught that stomach bug that’s going around and haven’t been feeling well all week, so I’ve been away from 3FC. I also haven’t really been keeping up with my exercise, since I’ve been napping during my normal exercise time. I’m hoping I’ll start to feel better soon and I’m going to try to get back on track with my walking. At least I’ve been staying under my calorie limit since I don’t feel like eating very much.
My weight seems to have stalled at around 157-158. Not sure if it’s the illness or if my body’s just decided to stay there for a while. I’m trying not to be overly concerned about that, though. As long as I stay on plan, hopefully everything else will work itself out. Rainy, I’m getting close to my initial goal too (getting below 150 and being closer to 100 than 200), but surprisingly I don’t feel like I look like 157 lbs. Maybe it’s just my height, but I’m realizing I’ve still got a ways to go.
My parents got our Christmas tree today, so the entire house smells like evergreen. I can’t believe that there are only 2 weeks left until Christmas! I still have more shopping to do…
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Rainy: Good luck with finals! I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you ace all of them!
Kim: Welcome! And congrats on your pregnancy! I love calorie counting too, and find the freedom of it really works when things are busy.

Checking in at 183! I can't wait for the 170s, it's the highest weight I remember being at when I was in my early 20s...but sooo much smaller than my HW! I'm at 80 pounds lost now, hooray!
Sparkle, ugh, hope you feel better soon! I appreciate the good mojo for finals, back to the books now!

Two finals down--aced them both btw and two to go! Can't wait til I'm done Thursday afternoon. Wanted to mention a fun thing that happened to me earlier--found a pair of capris that I wore right before my pregnancy, the first time I had lost 60 pounds and was at 203. I put them on just to see, and they were HUGE on me. It was awesome

Btw, I was looking at my numbers. I don't know if my rate of loss will continue to be the same as I get closer to normal BMI, which for me, is 154 pounds. I was thinking though, that even if I only lost an average of a pound a week from here on out, (my average now is 2), I would be hitting my final goal by next Halloween. I really hope that my body cooperates for me to do it by summer though...I can't tell you how long it's been since I've worn shorts...oh wait, yes I can...not since I was 14!

Hi, where is everyone? Busy with the holidays I guess? I finished finals, hooray! Won't get my last grades for a few days. I don't know if I'll get to the gym Tuesday, so I weighed while there today. Checking in at 181.8. Can't wait for the 170s We have my husband's birthday party tonight, so hoping for a good time. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hey everyone!
I still wasn’t feeling well this week, but I’m finally starting to feel better! Yay! I got on track with exercise yesterday and walked for 45 mins, and I did another half hour today despite the cold outside. And I finally ordered a WATP video so that I’ll be able to walk inside I can’t wait. It was -13 C (8 F) today. Brr.
Rainy: Yay, lots of good news! I’m so glad that you aced your first 2 finals, reached 80 pounds lost (way to go you!!) and outshrunk your prepregnancy capris! You’ve got some awesome mojo going on right now And I missed congratulating you on hitting an overweight BMI! That’s such a great feeling knowing that you’re just regularly overweight – to me, that’s when I started feeling normal out in society rather than overweight.
It’s so fun to think about when we’ll be done losing weight, I calculate and plan too. You should definitely plan for a cute Halloween costume! And I hope you wear shorts this summer regardless of whether or not you’re at goal. I wore shorts/short skirts even at my HW of 220. I’m sure I didn’t look great and I have big issues with my legs, but it always feels so nice to have the sun on my legs so I didn’t care.
Hope you have loads of fun at your husband’s birthday party and I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

Sparkle, brrr is right! It hasn't gotten that cold here yet. Thanks you so much, I guess I have had a lot of great stuff happening lately Please let me know what you think of WATP, my friends and I were looking for something different to do at home, and we miss our walks together Yes, I really am excited for Halloween 2012, I have to decide what I'm going to wear! I hear you about the shorts, but I really carry the majority of my weight in my thighs. They're getting better, but it's still a big thing for me. I hope to have them nice and toned up by the summer though. I also can't wait for super cute sundresses!!! <3 Lol. The birthday party was great, thanks! Now I just have to have him take the rest of his cake to work so it's not staring at me, tempting me to eat it! Have a great week everyone!!

I can’t believe Christmas is just a couple days away! And just over a week until new Year’s Eve and the end of this challenge. I’ve been trying to eat well this week, but I’ve been doing some Christmas baking and admittedly some sampling as well. I’ve been trying to count the cookies into my calories, but I have no clue how many calories are in each cookie (and frankly, I’m happy not knowing just how bad they are). The cookies I’ve already made are in the freezer for now though, so I won’t be eating them until Christmas day. At least I’m getting back into my exercise groove. I haven’t used my workout dvd yet since I’ve been enjoying the outdoors before it starts snowing. I really don’t like walking in the snow, so I plan on using the dvd then.
My mom and brother are both sick (he has bronchitis and she has pre-bronchitis), so I’m really hoping I don’t catch anything. I hate being sick on Christmas, plus I’ve got some big boxing day shopping plans. Almost all of my clothes are getting laughably large, so I need to stock up!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas weekend! Merry Christmas!

Sparkle, I hope you don't get sick either! Seems like maybe you and I are the only ones who stuck through to the end of this challenge...well, at least we've been doing well! I really hope you don't get sick either! I also wanted to grab a couple pairs of pants at the post-Christmas sales, since the 12s are really falling off of me now. Merry Christmas!!! (And I hear you about the baking, it's hard to resist!!)

I count calories, walk for an hour at least 6 times per week and do a short pilates video every other day. It’s always harder for me to stay on track during the winter when it’s cold and snowy all the time, so I’m hoping this challenge will help me stay on plan.

Look Sparkle! I was just looking back through the first pages to remember who all had started the challenge--you met your NYE goal early too! Yay, go us!!

Congrats on whooshing into the 170s Rainy! You’ve definitely surpassed your NYE goal! Congrats! And congrats on finishing out the challenge! Hope you had a great New Year's Eve and have a wonderful year!
I took a calorie counting break last week for the holidays and indulged in all that holiday food. So on NYE I didn’t actually weigh 156. Oh well, it’s close enough. Now I’m back on plan and I’m trying to stay away from the scale for another week or so
