Happy Weekend All!

My quads are sore today. So are my arms. I think some stretching and a bike ride should help ease them a bit for Monday.
Went down a pound. Whooo. Off to the grocery store to stock up on more veggies!

Morning Platoon,

Finished up the week at 380 minutes and 13.86 miles. Our hike yesterday got really wet (POURED ON US) so we didn't make it as far as we were planning, but we did run around and play in the rain and have a great time.

Chesh -- LOVE that motivational.

Reso -- I *was* putting all of your miles trekked into the spreadsheet for you, but I've stopped doing that because there was just too much to keep up with. PLEASE start doing it yourself, as you are a major contributor in our trekking miles.

Sarge - I would love to be part of the Trekk! I don't log as many miles as you guys do, but every little bit counts right? Should I add to the spreadsheet or keep it in my siggy?

Cheshire - I love that poster! That is a such a motivational quote. When I start to get discouraged because I haven't lost a lot I have to remind myself that every pound down is one pound closer to my goal and further from where I started.

Diyana - Congrats on busting into the 220's!!!!!!!! I am almost there and I can't wait. Keep it up!!!!!!!!!

Envelope - WTG on your big loss!!!!!! I see you are trying to catch up with me in the First to 15 challenge.

@Anon - I started bridging to 10k today and W1D1 went very well! I could have done more! Wooohooo! I will rest a bit and do JM's 30DS in the afternoon. Since I am not losing weight I better bump up me workouts. No excuses!

Morning Troops! (OK, so it's barely still morning . . . )

Envelope, great job on shattering your PR! Hope today's 10 miles went well.

diyana, congrats on making it out of the 230s! I know you've been working really hard - you should be very proud of yourself!

DZackery - great loss this week!

Maile - I see we've added yet another overacheiver in the platoon! Great job on your loss this week.

Ksquared - Sounds like you're really getting a handle on what works for you. I think that's half the battle. WTG!

Cheshirecat - Love today's poster. It's good to keep perspective.

I fell .2 shy of my goal this week. Not horrible, but the first time I haven't made my goal, so that kind of stinks. I need to get my head back in the game in a serious way. I've been sticking at or under my calorie goal and have been visiting the gym religiously, but I don't think I've really been pushing myself like I should. Part of the problem is that I haven't been getting nearly enough sleep and I am just plain EXHAUSTED. So, my goal this week is to get more sleep! (That sounds so wrong when y'all are pledging to work harder. )

Not sure exactly what we're suppose to list with our new weekly pledge. Hope I'm still able to put my name out there with the rest!

pledge - 3

lost (total so far) - 6.8

Going to look into that site "youregoingtosweat.com" this week to start doing some of those exercises.

Still working on the c25k plan. This wicked NC heat is a killa!

Doing the elliptical as well. So far my best time with that has been ten minutes. Worst time has been three.

Glad I FINALLY figured out how to pledge this week since the previous thread was closed!....hahahaha...

I was short of goal this week by a tenth of a pound, which is irritating because I really did work very hard to stay on track while on vacation (and did so, except for the wine that one night), and my miles trekked belie the fact that I was more active this week than I've been since the surgery - swimming every day, kayaking, etc. I suppose I should be pleased that I lost while on vacation, but I apologize to the platoon for not meeting goal this week.

I'm lacking energy for personals today, but I have read all the posts and am pleased for all those who are doing so well. Hope everyone has a great week this week.

My first pledge with the troops is to lose 1 pound next week!

I have been stuck/stranded between 245-243 for about 5 weeks, and this morning BOOM BOOM POW I weighed in at 239.8. So glad to finally be out of the 240s. That was also my first mini goal. Be back later to catch up on posts.

Since I felt so good after the run I added 30DS L1 and 90 sec of superman (my new favourite!)
Phew.
