Hi ladies! I hope you are all doing great. I am going to try my hardest to do a "sweets" detox for as long as I feel it is necessary. Whether it is one week or one month, who knows. All I know is that ever since I hit goal I have been giving myself a free-for-all pass to eat sweets. I'm working out a lot and still eating what I was used to eating, but I'm just eating way too much junk food. I need to get it back in my brain that eating crap doesn't make me feel good. It makes me feel like crap. But it just tastes soooo good. So, I'm going to really pay attention to my body and what it is really craving when I'm craving sweets. Maybe natural applesauce will help because that is really sweet. I'm just ready to focus again.

Emme - YOU CAN DO IT! I might have to join you although each time I think about it, I think, just working the program and really staying within my points is easier and it should still do the trick for me.

Things are starting to get a little easier for me. Thanks for all the encouragement. I'm not as tired the last couple of days and I AM hiring my friend to clean for me again. It will probably get better when school starts and there aren't teens in the house when I'm at work but, really, it always seems to be an issue! So, I'm doing it!

Afternoon ladies,

Emme - Once you get past the first couple days, it will get easier. Hopefully you won't get sugar withdrawls like I usually do. Are you keeping track of your weight now that you've reached your goal?

Workinmom - I'm glad you decided to hire the cleaning service. You'll feel so much better when everything is neat & tidy. Glad to hear that you're doing better too. I'm glad I joined the WW group here at work. It is very nice to have the ladies I work with on program with me. We are all doing very good.

I've had a very good day and I feel like I'm getting back in my groove. I can't let any crazy binges throw me off this time.

Have a great evening everyone.

B= 2 cups milk, vits
L= opps~ got busy online and skipped it
D= meatloaf, rosemary cheese potatoes, steamed broc
S= peanuts and choc chips
E= none but I did re-arrange my yarn stash taking pictures and posting them online!

I was really hungry at dinner and kept nibbling at the potatoes, then polished off the rest of the broc as I was putting everything away. I didn't realize I had skipped lunch until after dinner.

Penquin - I would probably giggle myself silly if I forgot to eat a meal. It's definitely not a problem I think I would ever have.

GettinFit - I bet it is good to have buddies on the same mission as you all around you during the day. I could use even just one partner here at work. I might have to seek one out.

I'm soo ready for the weekend challenge! It's coming at a perfect time too. I'm just feeling in the groove and now we have company coming this eve, road tripping with my teen daughter and her friends tomorrow and a b'day party Sunday. EEK!

Here's my plan:
Today
B~sf lite latte 5, turkey bacon sammich 9 (from Caribou..figured out pts for the sammich after...not good!)
L~going to lunch with old friends....looking for the light menu here!
D~having company over for CK on the grill 4, baked potatoes (mine will be a 1/2 w/ff sour cream & chives) 3, coleslaw (?) , strawberries, angel food cake 3 and FF topping 1
Exercise: lower body BFL DONE!!

Sat:
B~egg 2, english muffin bread 2, coffee w/sf creamer 1
Sn~fruit
L~sandwich, veggies, diet coke
Sn~fruit & veggies, ice cream cone at DQ
D~?
I definitely need stuff to munch today so I have options while surrounded by teens eating chips and other junk! And, I'm loading up on diet pop. Today, I can drink as much as I need to.
Exercise: pit swimming!

Sun:
B~cereal/skim, coffee w/sf creamer
L~mexi wraps
Sn~b'day party - bringing diet coke and skipping the cake. may have small scoop of ice cream
D~club sandwich, homemade fries, fruit salad
Exercise: short bike ride

Hi ladies,

I am up for the weekend challenge! Count me in.

GettinFit ~ I have been keeping up with the scale. I'm up 2 pounds, but I'm also ovulating and that's when I gain monthly weight (I don't gain at TOM), so that's normal for me. I didn't eat any sweets yesterday and I'm going to stay away from them as long as I can. At least until I feel "ready" enough to eat them!

Great job Emme on making a day W/O sweets. Sounds like you're doing a good job at maintaining your weight.

OK ladies - Let's all have a great OP weekend

I'm invited to a party tomorrow night but I will stay 100% OP. I'm in my groove now

I'll be sure to check in over the weekend.

Hey Peeps!

Been OP all week ... lost almost 3 lbs, which is great. ... BUT ... a good friend is having her birthday at the beach tomorrow, so I'll be hanging out in Margaritaville Saturday and Sunday (both literally and figuratively). LOL - will try to be as OP as possible. My goal for next week is to not GAIN anything.

So ... we'll see.

Good luck to everyone else this weekend! If I wasn't leaving for the beach, I'd be right here with ya!

Pghgal - Congrats on your 3 pound loss! That is awesome.

I hope everyone is surviving the weekend. I've used up all of my Points for the day so I'll have to dip into my weekly bonus points if I eat anything at the party tonight. Knowing that I had to report in here helped me to not go way overboard today.

I hope everyone is doing great.

Aug 13
b= 2 c milk, vits, pamprin, and leftovercheese potatos
S= cheese and triscuits
L= Pei Wei 1/2 Teryaki bowl {chicken brown rice veggies} Ice cream {later}
D= 2 slices bread "pizzas' {sauce, cheese, meatballs}
S= ice cream
E= none

Every once in a while I get REALLY bad symptoms of PMS when I ovulate. Yesterday and today were bad. I had a fuse about 1/4" long. I kept dropping things, snapping at poor Hubby and even April. Pamprin did help a little but the choc ice cream worked better. Grr!

In better news, April's leg is doing much better, she's hardly limping at all anymore. Crate rest is helping a lot, but she's getting pretty sick of being in here and when she gets to go outside {leashed} she's practically hyper.
