Peanutt & Dreamer: You both look great, younger too. Keep up the awesome work, ladies!
I get how nice it must be to put on some old outfit that is too big now, but I don't keep any of them. As soon as I notice something doesn't fit anymore I get rid of it. And let me tell you, it feels GOOD!
Sarge: I'm not bringing excuses to my absence on sunday, I only updated the spreadsheet with my numbers. Lost 2.2, pledge 1.8 this week.

Looking good ladies, Way to go Peanutt 100 pounds... i remember my first 100 scary.
Pokey : I have to eat frequently smaller meals, typically lots of fruits and meats (fiber and protein), currently i'm eating around 5 or 6 times a day and believe it or not around 4000 cals, still losing slowly, today my afternoon snack/meal i missed and i started to get weak within probably an hour, i have my metabolism firing on all cylinders right now, i sometimes struggle with eating so often because it seems wrong but it honestly is beneficial when you are highly active.
Just heading out to hit the road, a little behind today because i went and looked at that truck after work, they are going to see what the best rates i can get are, i'll decide tomorrow if i will buy it or not, it's pretty nice though.

Reso - I ate 6 times yesterday and am already up to 4 times today with dinner still ahead of me. It feels really weird to be eating all the time - like you said, it feels wrong. But, with my aim now at 1600 calories, I have to eat more often anyway because I hate that "overfull" feeling. I'm taking it "easy" today - only an hour of zumba this morning and then I'll do abs this evening. That feels strange too. But, at this point, I'm willing to try ANYTHING.

DREAMER - yay on the dress that's too big! That's such a good feeling!
I'm debating whether or not to go to the gym and walk on the treadmill tonight. It upsets me to be there and not be able to work up a sweat, and I'm very tired tonight, but I am so sick of not doing any deliberate exercise. I haven't been allowed to exercise for 6 weeks, and I don't see my doctor again for another 3 weeks, and I'm getting really frustrated and depressed. With the exception of feeling worn out I feel physically ok today, and so I'm thinking about just going.
Edit: Oh, and my scale was up AGAIN this morning. I ate 1222 calories yesterday and 935 on Sunday. What gives???

I want to say something. Peanutt you inspire me, I am in AWE of you. It has been said to me that someone thinks it was tactless for me to post progress pictures mere hours after you did. I knew you were posting yours Yes. I have been thinking of posting progress pics for about a week and in fact had not because I am still embarrassed and ashamed...of what I am and of what I let myself become. I did post my pictures because once I saw yours I thought to myself "peanutt can be brave enough to post hers, I need to post mine too" Peanutt you are an INSPIRATION and you have done SO SO SO WELL! CONGRATULATIONS I commend you. Thank you for posting your pictures!! TBH, you are one of the people who have kept me going on this journey, I look at your progress and I go OMG...I can't stop. She can do it...so I can too. From the bottom of my heart and soul Peanutt THANK YOU!
Edit: Again I am so, so, so sorry Peanutt It was not my intent to overshadow you or take the spotlight from you. I took them down.

MadamB - One of my most favorite things in the entire world is storytime...nothing better than sitting with a glass of wine sharing stories!
Chick - On the advice of my trainer and doctor (and Peanutt and Reso!) both, it's important to eat enough calories and often enough. I'm learning that the metabolism needs consistent fuel to continue to burn calories. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around, but I'm giving it a shot!
It is indeed HUMP DAY tomorrow - hope everyone has had a good week so far!

Pokey! Remember my furnace analogy! Have I posted my furnace/metabolism analogy on a platoon thread??

Late check in for me today. A very long work day, which makes me glad that I went to the gym first thing this morning. I hate getting up early, but I know on some days, it's the only time I have for a workout.
peanutt, your pics are truly amazing. Thank you so much for the motivation and inspiration; it really is a gift to those of us still fighting the battle!

DREAMER and Pokey: Thank you for the suggestions. I totally get the point about eating enough, and I think I do. My typical calorie range is 1200-1500, and I only occasionally eat below that. Sunday I did because I was feeling crummy, but on Friday and Saturday I ate at the top of my range (family was in town and all meals were out) and so my furnace was definitely fired. 1200-1500 is the range I've been eating in for 6 months and it has worked really well for me; that doesn't mean that my body won't change how it handles that calorie level, of course, but given that I'm very sedentary right now it seems like a pretty reasonable caloric intake to me. Either way, I could understand it if my loss were slowed, but I shouldn't be gaining!
But I'll take your advice and eat more tomorrow; it's my birthday, and so I'm going to enjoy (in a reasonable manner!) dinner out with my husband. Normally I'd save up my calories for the dinner, but maybe a higher calorie day is what my body needs.
I did go to the gym tonight; I did a slow 45 minutes walking on the treadmill, 1.8 miles. It felt good to do something.
