I'm feeling good. Went out of the house for the first time since coming home from the hospital. Walked around Wal-Mart telling hubby what to put in the cart. Picked up a small cantaloupe melon in the produce department and was totally shocked at the size of it! I had to double check with DH that the doctor had said "the size of a cantaloupe" when she came for the post-op visit.
I too want things to get better faster. We drove past a couple out running tonight and I got all jealous of them outside enjoying the beautiful weather with a run. I guess this is a good lesson in patience for impatient me! I'm really eager for the swelling to go down.

It's crazy to think that there was something that large in your abdomen. For as much as you've had to go through, I'm really glad you're rid of it - and that your doctors will know to monitor you so that they can detect any future issues long before they become problematic.
I'm happy to hear that you're feeling good and you were able to go out for a while today! I understand the frustration of seeing other people running - I went to the gym the other night and walked very slowly on the treadmill, and was fighting back tears at seeing others do so much more. And I definitely hear you on the swelling.
I really hope your recovery continues to go well.

Budget- That is very helpful. Logging on the computer is too much work. TY
Peanut- Good advice. I bought the shoes because I just started running and they are perfect for CrossFit activities. It will be adjustment.
chickadee3- Welcome back!! Still start slow and get back your energy.

Congrats Reso! You da man!
Although it made me a few minutes later than I had planned, I made my lunch this morning. Salad with romaine lettuce, deli turkey breast, FF strawberry balsamic dressing, and Bacos. Breakfast is a variety of fruit from the break room. And of course water. My husband is actually planning on hitting the gym with me tonight. Sadly no gym last night. The car was on empty and he had the gas card so I had no money to fill up. I had the option of going to the gym and walking the 25 miles back home afterward or going home and working out there. I chose option 2. 30DS and 2 miles of Leslie Sansone. Could have been better but also could have been a whole lot worse.
Hardcore Folks - I am at 290 minutes so far this week. Where are y'all at?

Good morning everyone, thankyou so much, can't really believe i only weighed 190 last night, i do try as hard as i can everyday though, even if some days aren't perfect or i catch myself sliding i pull things together to get back on track and keep a positive direction.
It's been somewhere between 1.5 and 2 years since i slowly began my lifestyle overhaul, i knew the time would pass regardless of what i did, i just wanted to make these years something better, i could easily be 400 or more pounds today, it's sad, i'm proud i can hold my head high today and look back on each challenge knowing i might have wavered but i did not fall.
It's gonna be 35 c again today, eek, i might even break into the 180's today.
I pray everyone can find it in them to make their lives better, we will never be perfect ( i know i'm not ) but i am happier and healthier and more alive because of the choices i've made, have a productive day, it might only be one small day but it's a step that can lead to better days or worse days depending on how we treat it, i will once again try my very best.

Good Morning Platoon!!
It's off to work I go again.
I did some hill repeats this morning. Running up hill as fast as I can, then back down and repeat. Whooo. After work is NROL.
I have a banana, carrots and plum as a snack today.
Reso-CONGRATULATIONS!!! 190! My goodness man!
Chickadee-Glad to hear the recovery is going well.
