Oh my, that's a lot of tattoos! I sometimes wish I were brave enough to get one

melodymist, congrats on your compliments!! Nothing like someone noticing your hard work to give you a boost.

I really cannot recommend Zumba enough! It was amazing! It was the best workout I've had in a long time, really intense by my standards, yet I was having so much fun that stopping never crossed my mind. It was also a good motivator for me as it reminded me of one of the things I'm going to treat myself to when I hit goal: dance classes I used to love dance and took classes for years, but I'm far too self-conscious to do it at my current weight. It felt good to do something similar again. If you have access to classes you really should try just one, I'm sure you'll be hooked! Needless to say, I'm going back next week

Have a lovely weekend everyone x

aseret - Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah!!! I knew you would like it! Zumba is fun and it doesn't feel like you're working out because it is enjoyable. I have all the DVD's so I do it at home but I would love to go to a Zumba class witha instructor one day.

ItsMyTurn - Forgive me for somethings slip my mind, I went through the post again and I was going to comment about your weigh in loss and the jeans that are a fitting you now. Ugh. Sorry! But here it is.. W E L L D O N E !!!!!! You're a real champion! It feels good that those jeans fit again hey! Yes, work out that stress!!!!!!!! It's the best and most positive way!

=======================

Last night me and my best friend went for dinner because these both two weeks has been crazy for both of us. It was so much fun and I really enjoyed it. We had mussels, sushi and wine. I think the wine was maybe too sweet and full of empty calories but it's all right. I was ON the whole week with my eating and excersise so it's okay, I don't want to get deprived.

Oh yes and my abs and lower back is killing me and they're sooooo sore. Did Zumba and Yoga Meltdown yesterday. Wow haha I'm feeling the workout now! Also going away for the weekend. A friend asked me to be his date at a party tonight Enjoy the weekend friends!

Hi all, hope it is a good weekend for everyone. I am getting nervous only two more weeks until my final weigh in at the gym for my transformation challenge. In the past couple of weeks I seem to be at a stand still can't seem to get the weight moving again and I don't know why workout have been bumped up and meals have been OP so I don't understand I was hoping to hit 30lbs for the 12 weeks but I know that isn't going to work I am just hoping right now that I will meet the 25lb mark. I am at around 20 lb loss right now any suggestions on how to get the weight loss moving again????

LGW - No gain is a success in itself! That's a good week

melody - that sounds wonderful! A dinner out with a bestie is sometimes a necessity! Hope you enjoyed your party too!

mystical - Honestly 20 Lbs is a great loss, but if you feel yourself stalling then maybe time to mix it up a bit. Change the time of day for workout or possible mix up the workout a bit to confuse your body - that usually results in some loss coming back again. Your body, muscles, etc get used to routine, and in order to keep results flying you have to mix it up periodically just to show it you are unpredictable. Weird, but true. Hope that helps

Default WELCOME to all the new folks!

WOW! It's great to have so many new folks jumping on Santa's Scales!

SO--- the dreaded appt was today. And-- all I can say is "whoop-de-freakin' do!" I shouldn't be disappointed but I have been SO good! In the beginning, I said my plan was
1200 cals daily... 45 % carbs, 33 % fats and 22 % protein.

I use fitday to track it-- FIVE weeks later-- it is actually....
43 % carbs, 35 % fat and 21 % protein and 1249 cal/avg/day.

So--pretty darn close don't you think?! Well--no big surprises--lost EXACTLY according to the plan--Grrrr! but, I will be grateful and will keep on program.

Anyway--the big news is I have lost 7.5 # in five weeks--exactly 1.5 # per week. LOL--don't guess they will be asking me to do any "super weight-loss advertisements" anytime soon!

HINT to those under 50: Start losing it NOW!! The older you get, the harder it gets. After 50--the weight turns to CEMENT and moves just as slowly!! LOSE IT NOW!!

V/V
ps how do I get the tracker to recognize .5, or doesn't it?

Another to join...if I may. I realize some of you guys started in July, so I will need to step it up to lose my Santa belly by Christmas. My WI is on Wednesday, although this week I am going to a convention in Minnesota and will be weighing on Monday.

Welcome to the new folks! Just jump right in!!!

Vanessa - Good to hear from you Great job on the loss!!!!! 1.5/wk is excellent! As for your ticker, I couldn't get the 3FC ticker to register decimals, so decided to change it out. If there is a trick to it, I don't know it, LOL

IMT-- Thanks, Sweetness! I guess I felt I had worked SO hard that it should have been higher!*** In my earlier years I could have lost half-again as much! LOL-- I guess those time are history!! But, I'll take it--thank you for the encouragement.

BTW-- I've been meaning to ask you--where in MAINE?

Have a good week!

*** I think I've been watching too much "Biggest Loser" and their humongous losses!

Love this plan!!
I'm in! I'll be weighing in on Mondays.
Right now I'm on Weight Watchers Plus (online).. I have mixed emotions in regards to it, because I had much better results with the older version.. Still I'm going to stick to it for one or two more weeks to see how it goes!

Best regards!
