WAKIE WAKIE TROOPS!!! IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!!!
MadamGooey--Thanks for "manning" the thread while Sarge was off base (literally and figuratively)...btw, I clicked the link you left above. It doesn't work and says you're a "malformed video." I've often thought of you like that. :-)
Dreamer -- Way to avoid the binge monster. Again, anyone who has those binge cravings and doesn't understand or know what your up against, google and watch the show Addicted to Food...after a few episodes you'll come away with a huge understanding of the psychological issues involved.
Peanutt-- Ruh-oh scooby doo! Poor baby. Reso is right. We need a surgical recovery unit here!
Celrae--Saw you minutes and pledge minutes. It's funny. I see 700 minutes pledged and I think while that's really only 20 minutes more spread over the week, but WOW doesn't 700 minutes look and sound impressive!?!?!?!
Dcap nice loss on that early report. Funny how little comments stick in Sarge's mind. Still love the "shut up and do the work!"
Me1st--Between your salutes, your witty banter, and OMG now your siggy I've noticed. Is that a pole dancer slider you've created in your siggy?!?!?!
POKEY -- Get Me1st's pole dancer!
Just saw some results rolling in....perhaps not as good a week as last, but we shall examine and march on! Sounds like a couple of you are starting to learn that yes, this weight loss thing is an EVERY DAY battle no matter what life throws at us. I view weight loss as a bit similar to E. Kubler-Ross stages of grief:
Denial (this isn't happening to me!)
Anger (why is this happening to me?)
Bargaining (I promise I'll be a better person if...)
Depression (I don't care anymore)
Acceptance (I'm ready for whatever comes)
Personally, Sarge is at the acceptance stage. I know Reso and a few other platoon members are there as well. We've "accepted" that this healthier lifestyle is an everyday thing we now do. I hope you all get to that stage as quickly as possible because it's really a rather relaxing place to be. You don't hate your scale, you don't avoid foods like the plague, you can have little treats now and then, and your exercise time is your happy place.
Ok, that's long winded...time to start adding pounds and miles! Pledge board update in a bit.
