Just wanted to share...I'm in a bit of a depressive spell atm..not my fave or best thing to do. Here is the good point tho, I am noticing...I don't want to eat...I used to emotionally eat and eat and eat...I think hmm..lets eat then I go umm..no I don't wanna...I don't feel like it. Interesting tho.

Poor Peanutt

My shred buddy, I hope you are feeling better today and are allowed to go home. Let us know how you are doing. You know we're all here for you.

GOOD MORNING PLATOON!!!!

Rise and shine! Up an at 'em! Yes, you too MadamB! It's hard to lead the troops if you're snoozing! Hahahaha!

Okay, time to weigh in. 245.0 was on the scale this morning. Yeah, that's a gain of 1.2 pounds. I sat back and look a serious look at my week. Where did I screw up? I didn't work out two days back to back. I let my stress get to me and take over. I can't do that. Now that I know where I went wrong, I can get myself under control!

This Week: gained 1.2 lbs.
Next Week's Pledge: 3 lbs.
Hardcore Workout Minutes This Week: 420
Miles Trekked this Week: 9.41 miles

I am still going to keep my 14 mile goal for next week. I need 3 pounds gone and 14 miles under my belt next week! Now, off to start burnin' that BUTT-er!

I'm sorry for my poor performance. I didn't eat more than 1400 cals, so I will exercise more next week. I let me weight training totally go this week for absolutely no reason other than I was being lazy. I will work out 6 days this week. 4 of those will include weight training. 3 will include cardio (c25k week 8). I will keep my calories between 1300-1400 so I KNOW that I am not eating too little.

WAKIE WAKIE TROOPS!!! IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!!!

MadamGooey--Thanks for "manning" the thread while Sarge was off base (literally and figuratively)...btw, I clicked the link you left above. It doesn't work and says you're a "malformed video." I've often thought of you like that. :-)

Dreamer -- Way to avoid the binge monster. Again, anyone who has those binge cravings and doesn't understand or know what your up against, google and watch the show Addicted to Food...after a few episodes you'll come away with a huge understanding of the psychological issues involved.

Peanutt-- Ruh-oh scooby doo! Poor baby. Reso is right. We need a surgical recovery unit here!

Celrae--Saw you minutes and pledge minutes. It's funny. I see 700 minutes pledged and I think while that's really only 20 minutes more spread over the week, but WOW doesn't 700 minutes look and sound impressive!?!?!?!

Dcap nice loss on that early report. Funny how little comments stick in Sarge's mind. Still love the "shut up and do the work!"

Me1st--Between your salutes, your witty banter, and OMG now your siggy I've noticed. Is that a pole dancer slider you've created in your siggy?!?!?!

POKEY -- Get Me1st's pole dancer!

Just saw some results rolling in....perhaps not as good a week as last, but we shall examine and march on! Sounds like a couple of you are starting to learn that yes, this weight loss thing is an EVERY DAY battle no matter what life throws at us. I view weight loss as a bit similar to E. Kubler-Ross stages of grief:
Denial (this isn't happening to me!)
Anger (why is this happening to me?)
Bargaining (I promise I'll be a better person if...)
Depression (I don't care anymore)
Acceptance (I'm ready for whatever comes)

Personally, Sarge is at the acceptance stage. I know Reso and a few other platoon members are there as well. We've "accepted" that this healthier lifestyle is an everyday thing we now do. I hope you all get to that stage as quickly as possible because it's really a rather relaxing place to be. You don't hate your scale, you don't avoid foods like the plague, you can have little treats now and then, and your exercise time is your happy place.

Ok, that's long winded...time to start adding pounds and miles! Pledge board update in a bit.

Envelope -- Congrats on the weight loss!! Have fun with your family today and Happy Birthday to your daughter!

Iianae -- I have added you to the spreadsheet so that you can track your miles trekked and pledges and stuff.

On the sheet, you will see tabs along the bottom. The first tab is "Platoon Total" the second tab says "Anon" and then they continue on in alphabetical order. Locate your tab at the bottom and click on it.

I have already input your starting weight and the pledge you have made for this week. This week you should ONLY edit the PURPLE cells under the days of the week. These track your miles trekked, so as you get your trek on, just put it in the appropriate day. Next Sunday, when you weigh in, you will edit the PINK cells and put in what you weigh on Sunday, as well as your pledge for the following week.
