I was really excited with my week summary on Sunday. I lost 1.4 then happily spent the day logging all my stats (all the averages for the week hit each of my goals). I really appreciate the Thursday official check-ins in this thread as I'll have two opportunities to keep myself going. I also joined in on the 40's summer group (can't recall the exact name). I promised to contine with my plan 1500 cals a day, 3 miles walk minimum a day, and 4 times workout a week. Two extras for incentives are to try to get two days at 1250 and to reduce my caffeine (about 55 oz diet mountain dew a morning).

I think I under valued an appetizer for Mother's Day but I'm not sure (restaurant food). I got stuck on the road unexpectedly on Monday so had a higher day than wanted. I am looking at my week totals so my incentive to get in two lower cal days to balance out.

Congrats to Kelley. Woo Hoo!

Welcome to Susie.

Lani, thank you so much for keeping up with the log and sharing. I think you're right on track with the attitude--start at 1 and just keep going!

Snow thanks for all the motivating check ins, hellos and support. Great thread here.

Just a quick check in. OP for calories today at 1168. and down to 212 as of yesterday! But at the gym tonight i was at 212 with my sneakers on too so i think im even below that! I can tell this week is going to show an awesome weigh in! keep up the good work!

And snow, yep. sure sounds like we have pretty identical plans! i plan to blow that 30 lbs right outta the water! haha

I have lost another pound this week. Still counting my calories and staying on plan.
I figure my menu for the day every morning. And add up the total calories in the menu.
It helps me to stay focused on dieting.

This is gonna be a rough week for me. but I'll get through. I've been going to the gym reguarly now and doing a great job. The other night i went out with the girls. I did drink and eat some fried food that im not too proud of, but im off to the gym again in a bit.tomarrow im getting tattooed on my whole back soooo working out is going to be a ***** good think i have a little puppie i can walk around the neighborhood to burn cals the first two days of healing. still scared to weight myself i can feel when i lost weight and i dont feel it now my scale is bi polar so right now im just going by measurment and how i fit in to my close and how i feel. cuz if i look at the scale i will get disapointed and give up. i cant give up. i dropped 40 pounds two years ago without even changing my diet i just worked out times a week i can do it again.

EDIT: Just got back from the gym i feel great ready to get tattooed tomarrow!

Hi all:

happy thursday!

so I am 20/21 so far and it feels good! I think I could lose quicker if I ate less carb and more protein but it is harder to do than just calorie counting. I am working on going in that direction but not quite there yet.

I am working on adding just a little extra walking each day.

so I have 79 days to go until the 100 is completed--it goes fast! That is 11 weeks and I am still hoping to lose 2 a week on average. whatever I lose will be better than what would have happened if I had not been on plan.

Have a wonderful 100% day!!

sno

So i just looked back over my calories since i started. I've been OP 7 of the last 10 days since i started the challenge. Thought i was doing better than that but 7/10 isnt bad. Yesterday i was still techinically OP as far as calories but i did eat pizza for dinner.. oops! Ah, just put me over for sodium but either way i was only at 1496 for calories. I dont remember if i mentioned it but my calories range from 1400-1600 a day as my allotment. I've been kind of all over the place. My bad days were 1700 at the most (which isnt horrible) and i've even had days at 1100 so im up and down. But it still seems to be working because since i started my journey i've lost 5.5 lbs! We'll see where i'm at this week... I still feel pretty good about having a decent weight loss this week so hopefully im right!

Edit: Started this challenge at 214.8 and i'm down to 212 as of Sunday. So far i've lost 2.8 lbs. I've got 90 days left to lose 27 more pounds! Totally doable. Still puts me on plan to lost about 2 lbs a week!

Hey Dreamer, don't get down on having a bad week. TOM throws us all off.
I always hold onto weight. Don't worry it will balance out in a few days. Just try to get back on track and you'll feel better.
I'm trying hard to keep off the wine during the week. I really wanted some tonight but if I don't open the bottle then I can't have any right!
Hope everyone can stick to their plans
