Welcome all the newest joiners! Looks like we're all trying to get a leg up on the holidays.
I'm happy to report day #1 OP has gone pretty well, but I've had a nagging sugar withdrawal headache....stupid sugar!

I hope it is not too late to join. I need accountability as well. My goal is excercise at least 5 days a week. NO fast food, especially fried chicken and McDonald's sweet tea.

Louisa - Rum cake and homemade ice cream, wow, that sounds fantastic! With dancing! What a great way to celebrate!

Welcome to all the new folks! We're going to have a fantastic November!

I've had a background headache for the last two days that is making me very cranky. Hopefully today it will fade. I've been on plan with both food and exercise, though it is certainly not as enjoyable to exercise with a headache.

I'm off to vote, I hope everyone has a great ON PLAN Tuesday!

Yesterday was OP and today I have a headache from coming off the sugar and junk Hopefully it will pass soon.
I lost 5.2 lbs. since yesterday morning (235.6) to 230.4 . Spent all yesterday peeing gallons. Needless to say I'm carb sensitive.

Planning an OP day. Off to vote & buy more paint for my kitchen.
Hope your day is a good one!

Alright, well the nagging headache from yesterday is pretty much gone. I forgot to weigh myself this morning which is a bummer since I should've showed a nice loss. I've gotten out of the habit of daily weighing (too depressing when I'm gaining!) so it may take me a few days to get back into the habit. We'll see what tomorrow holds. Tonight we have some friends coming over for supper which will be fun. I just have to remember not to overdo anything. I want to make it through day #2 OP!!
I, too, am off to vote and then pick up the kids. It's a good day for freedom!

Wow, I really fell off the wagon the last week or so... and gained 3 lbs. But hey, it is a new month and a new start.

Start Date: November 3rd (I know, a little late... I binged the first two days of November which I deeply, deeply regret... Well, it's never too late to make a change for the better.)

Weight Goal:
My goal is to get OUT of the 190's!
Excercise Goal
1:Excercise EVERY day, no matter how big or small. I will fit SOMETHING in, even if it is just a walk around the block or one segment of a 10 minute solutions video.
2:Another excercise goal is to do an hour of fast-paced walking three times a week.
Food Related Goals:
1-No soda or energy drinks of any kind
2-No candy (must... resist... left over halloween candy...)
3-No fast food (oh my god this is going to be difficult.)

OP today and yesterday. I was really tired today and let myself have a lower intensity workout. Yesterday I did 40 minutes of step aerobics with two risers instead of just my normal one (so eight inches instead of four) and I'm still a little worn out from that. But I'm proud I got through it!

My eating has been awesome so far. I just need to keep at it and not get lazy.

Oh, and I'm in love with a food processor. I just bought the Ninja from Bed Bath & Beyond and it is wonderful. I need to be more careful when handling the blades though. I have tiny little cuts all over my hands now. The embarrassing part is I didn't realize what was causing them until just now!

Good evening. Sounds like the headache fairy has been making her rounds. She's still sitting right between my eyes and it's making me weary.

I was down one pound to 151 today, and was pretty good on my calorie allotment today, plus Tom is packing his bags, so hopefully I will be seeing one forty something within a few days. I'm worried though because there is a lot of potential overeating and drinking in my week ahead. I'm trying to plan two different dinner dance parties at my house both Friday and Saturday nights (I like cooking for my own birthday), so I have to make sure I make something low-cal that I can fill up on.

Really, I'll be lucky to maintain. And I'll be happy. In fact, this will be the happiest birthday I've had in a long time, having given myself the present of losing weight and being thinner than I have been in almost 30 years (junior high, I think). Couldn't have done it without this group of awesome chicklets--thanks for listening to my babble during my journey!
