Default Halfway mark under goal

Well here we are halfway and I am am2 miles short. Still my goal is 26 and there are 30 days in month. I may start walking in am and pm. Or not. I will same that idea for the next challenge
I'm going to walk 26 miles. I started today with a mile but I guess that is just a practice run since it is still August. No wait...I'm counting it!
8/31/10 mile walk-school loop 1 mile easy pace but hot weather
9/1/10 Mowed lawn for 30 min (I'm going to log all extra activity) estimate 1/2 mile exertion
9/2/10 none
9/3/10 mall loop,painting,walk 1/2 mild
9/4/10 walkies 2.2 miles neighborhood loop
9/5/10 painted shelf, did laundry zero miles blister on left ankle
9/6/10 .4 mile up to corner and back, hot and muggy evening traffic
9/7/10 1 mile loop to grade school,at 7pm 91degrees the first step out the door is the hardest. 5.5 miles to date
9/8/10 nuthin might even have to say negative miles for laying around watching HGTV while the sun shined
9/9/10 Walked to the library and back 1.4 miles
9/10/10 no exercise but I went to a quilt.ing bee and moved my bookshelf project indoors
9/11/10 Went to state park, saw a bunch of exhibits, old CCC camp and original home of OSS, walked 1 mile trail, .5 mile exhibits
9/12/10 Went to Alexandria and toured some high rise apartments , loved the space and location-it was fun. 1 mile
9/13/10 nope nuthin
9/14/10 Neighborhood walk out to end of H. and back 2.4 miles TOTAL=11.4
9/15/10 School loop +.2 west to cul de sac for 1.6 Total 13 on the 15th =FAIL maybe I will go out this afternoon
9/16/10 Yay 3 miles thirsty and sweaty but not exhausted temp 80d,Out to farC loop and back the long way. 16 on 16th
9/17/10 walked in pm 35 min 1mile 17 on the 17th, grocery shopped20min,thrift shop 20min,floor scrapped 15min
9/18/10 YAY I went out and did a VOLKSWALK 10k 6.2 miles I was really tired after 4 miles, stopped and watched the boats
but I made it back. Then I had the bratwurst lunch and ruined the calories but got the exercise Total miles 23
9/19/10 Walked 40 min .6mile out and back 1.2 miles
9/20/10 walked .8 mil past "the gardens" and back, took the stairs.
9/21/10 Wegmans/ Planned to do the loop around shopping center, knew as soon as I hit the path I had on wrong shoes-knees and ankles hurt. Settled for walking perimeter of building then went in and shopping for 40 min. .3 outside .2 inside
Total to date 24.7
