Default W.O.W. Memorial Day Challenge 2010~Week 4

Half-way week!! Week Number 4! Hurray!!!

Week 1: 142
Week 2: 140
Week 3: 142
Week 4: 140

I'm back to that stupid old cycle again. I did this cycle for months and it drove me crazy. Really crazy. I've been at 139 for the last 3 days, but my official w/i is 140. (deep breath, its only a number)

The pre-school in my school district only has so many spots so you put your kiddos on a list, then they draw names out of a hat. They drew Tommy's name for their waiting list, but the gal I talked to said "I expect some movement from the kids that made it on the list." So does that mean I should expect him to make it into the class, or do I try to find a private preschool? I'm having issues because most private preschools cost more and require a non-refundable deposit. Errr. Makenna is a good student and she didn't do preschool, Tommy is just absolutely ready for school. He is way more ahead of Makenna when she started Kindergarten, (but his birthday is in october)
W 64 oz
E not much today, just extra laps through the plant.
E 1400 cals
D figure out why I'm stressing over stupid things.

Wink

Week 1- 178.6
Week2- 175.8 That looks pretty, huh??
Week 3- 181. REALLY??? how can that happen??
Week 4- 179.6 This is crazy.

Tiara- You said you are slowly getting back with it. WHAT??? Look at those numbers. WOW!!!!

Jeni- Just confirmed that we are once again losing 4 teachers. We will just get different teachers back in the fall. Our district is so stupid. Yep I said STUPID!!!

Not losing anything. Sure I won't see a new low number this month like I had hoped. At this point I'd be happy to get back to 175ish. I was 179.6 today.

Good Morning everyone.

Mindy~I'm in the same boat you are. I'd like to be back at my pre-D-land weight. Our school district gave out some layoff notices too, Its crazy why do they do that and then scramble at the first of the year to get classes right?

My food journal is helping me out I think. I have gone from averaging about 1850 cals per day the first week, to 1700 the second week to 1520 last week. I hit my goal almost every day last week, but there were just a couple that threw me off. This week will be better. I'm sticking to the 60 minutes of cardio until I get back to 136, then I will go back to my regular workout.

Todays plan is to workout, and then clean house.

W 80 oz
E 60 cardio maybe a few weights when I am done
E 1400 clean planned cals. stick to the plan
D stick to my food plan, stick to my food plan.

This has been a nightmare for me. I wasn't able to check in at all last week. I had a really bad week at work and on top of it a couple of birthday dinners. Then I had Mom's Weekend with my son at college. You can see how badly it went by my weight below.

Week 1: 165.5
Week 2: 164
Week 3: 159.5
Week 4: 167.5

So I need to give this another attempt.

Today's WEED -

W - 64 oz.
E - 1 mile
E - 1200 - 1400 calories
D - get equipment ready for demonstration tomorrow

hey ladies, half way there, keep up the good work everyone

No official stats for me this week. I came down with a lovely case of food poisoning sunday so my weight is pretty far down today but mostly water loss. Once I catch up on fluids I'll post a more accurate weight. Overall had a really bad week- hurt my foot running, got sick, and had one of the most depressing weeks at work of my entire career. gotta roll with the punches though

W as much as humanly tolerable, ive been drinking 2-3 big bottles of gatorade per day the past few days but eating a bit now so back to water
E no pressure here, might try a light jog in a couple of days to test the foot, maybe a swim on saturday
E whatever i can tolerate for another day or two, then 1500 cal until I get back into my exercise program. i will probably liberalize to 1700 cal when back at full intensity and see how that affects weight vs training performance
D just hang in there, some days that is the best you can do

Lobon~Take care of that foot. I hurt my foot in December, it flares up still, but I took it easy for about 2 weeks to let it get better.

Popcorn~pick yourself up, dust yourself off. Now take a big breath. You can do this, just take it one day at a time.

Kris~have a great day too!

My workout is done! It was a good one!
