Good morning ladies!!! I officially graduated from Physical Therapy today. I am now moving on to working with the personal trainer 2 times per week. WooHOo!!! I am still recovering from my swim in the carb ocean. But with time that will show on the scale.

With much consultation from my DH, PT and trainer and lots of soul searching I have made a decision.

I am going to do a triathlon. It is local and in June. The 13th to be exact. Training is going to be tough and merciless. But what a challenge. IT is a women's tri sprint distance. 75K swim, 22K bike 5K run. I can do this. I have to work on my training schedule this weekend. And start swimming FFebruary 1st. OMG. but this is good.

Looks like everyone is doing well. I was so close to goal, then went for my swim and now have to do it again. But that is ok. clothes are still fitting better and better. I am not sure if I shared this yet, but I was able to buy pajamas right off the clearance rack at Kohl's the other day in an XL. Woop!!! no 2X or 1X. simply XL. Yipee. Stuff is so cheap when it is on clearance.

Have a great day. Will catch up on personals later.

Hey all! A quick post to say, I'm at exactly 129.6 again (or still). So I'm okay with that. BF is still 1.5% higher than I'd like, but I'm not sure it'll change much until I get back to running, which will be very soon.
Got some organizing done already today, as well as my workouts, so now it's time to get lunch ready. Have a great, healthy day!

Hello everyone just a quick check in. Had a really crazy day yesterday. I got a call from the school yesterday and some other kid pushed my son into the wall and wouldn't you know it (our luck) It broke his bone and pushed it into his growth plate in his arm... They put a temp. cast on it and we will see the bone specialist in the morning. Crazy day, so needless to say yesterday I was POP until we ended up in the ER and clinic all night so it was a quick hamburger at a fast food YUCK! but I am back to my plan today and feeling much better... SO lots of water for me today.

My dietician's plan has really been helping me out so much. I just wished I could be doing my workouts but my knee still can't take the weight yet so I am just stuck with making sure the food intake is POP... Hopefully I will be able to get back to the routine soon and get to my goal for the first time so keep your fingers crossed for me. I'll check in soon .... Hope you all are having a great day...

Jellofer: you are a wild woman! What a great goal. That is really going to whip you into shape and keep you swimming in healthy waters rather than in the carb swamps. Real clothes...ah, good for you. It's nice to feel average, isn't it?

Mystical: Zoiks! What a mess. Hope everything heals quickly, including your knee and your son's arm! Keep the motivation up! You'll be back to it soon.

I finally hit my 20 day 20 post minimum so I could add a signature and ticker. Let's see if it looks like what it's supposed to. I started a blog too. Yikes!

Jello - That's great that your doing the Tri. I wish I was that brave... and I had a better foot.

Mystical - sorry to hear about your son. That is awful. I hope he heals quickly. What is POP?

Taurie POP (perfect on plan)

Thanks for all the concern, we go to the bone specialist tomorrow so hopefully we will get good news. My knee is getting better slowly DH said I should see the doctor and I told him if I went in when my son did they might just think we had a big family fight LOL..... He said no you are just stubborn I guess I would have to agree with him but if it doesn't get better I will have it checked out soon.

SO, I have to follow up yesterdays great post, with a "shame on me" post. DH emailed me in the middle of the day yesterday and said "so and so wants to meet up for dinner tonight" Well, this is our friend who just got back from Afghanistan and was injured by a road side bomb while he was there. So I say sure and we decide on a Mexican restaurant. Bad idea. I love Mexican food.

So we meet there, get chatty and then when it's time to order, I panic and pick the first thing that sounds OK. Beef tip burrito. WRONG!!! It was 2 burritos (tortilla with only meat in them) covered in cheese sauce (OMG my favorite stuff ever). I ate one and took the other home, and ate about half the rice. Oh, I ate chips and salsa too and some guacamole. And to add insult to injury, I didn't have time to go work out because he came back to our house afterwards. So, I can't accurately count my calories, but I tried my best, and it put me over by at least 500, probably more like 800. I feel crappy about it. It was like letting a kid out in a candy store. I wanted to eat it all. Lesson learned, I can't go out to eat at a Mexican place.

But, it's out in the open and I can move on now. No gym tonight because it closes at 5, so double JM's videos tonight and 2 hard workouts over the weekend. I tired to combat some of the sodium bloat and drank tons of water, but I was up to 161.2 this morning. My mantra today will be "Water water everywhere" and hopefully I can fix what I messed up.

Celebrate the victories, girls!! Nella, I would've eaten the whole thig right there, so good job for controlling it! tigga, 9 lbs is AMAZING! You should feel awesome about that!

I'm fluctuating around the same pound still. DH are going on our overnight date tonight and tomorrow's busy, so I'll be scarce until Sunday. Have a great weekend all!!

Enjoy yourself mrs. P!!!

Nella---your trip to the Mexican restaurant reminded me of my swim in the carb ocean. You will work it off in no time.

Well....I actually have a reason why the scale hasn't moved much this week. TOM!!!! he thought he would surprise me a week early. Isn't that so thoughtful of him. So that would explain a ton. but the scale did sip 1.8 today, so I am hoping that I am on my way back towards goal.

Have a great weekend ya'll!!!

My original goal was 165, don't think I'll make that one. I will be happy to be 168 on January 31. Unfortunately, I've been off the healthy road exactly the same amount of days I've been on this month. I'm fortunate to be down 4 pounds. I WILL finish off the next 9 days uber strong!! And then look out February!
