Hey Everyone!

No time for personals but I wanted to check in and say hi. The scale said something ridiculous this morning 180.2. Not sure what's going on, if TOM had me super bloated and maybe I was super bloated anyway from Christmas/break carbohydrates or something. We shall see what it says in a day or two. It would be awesome if that stuck. Totally awesome.
Here's hoping for an OP for everyone!

SG-Claim those losses, you silly woman! Why do you refuse to believe these wonderful things?! You are ROCKING this month!!

Scatterheart and Aiela! Just a note: We have a sister thread where we keep track of exercise goals: January Exercise Challenge. The list here includes other health and weight related goals. Please join us on the other thread also to track exercise progress! We are also more of the "chat" thread (of the 2) where everyone lets us know how they're doing. So glad to have you with us now!!

I was down a smidge this morning and I guess I'm retaining a bit due to pre-TOM because I'm due a bigger loss than the scale is showing. It is certainly keeping me on track though since I'm determined to get down to a new low ASAP. Otherwise, OP and feeling good here!

Delphi my heart goes out to you

I can't possibly imagine what that must be like, I know how rough it has been for you over the past few months, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I know it must be hard but try and stay strong.

Hi ladies,

I'm back from my travels and glad to see so many folks doing so well. I picked up a few pounds along the way but I'll give it a couple of days and see where I'm at when the bloat clears.

I have piles of laundry and unpacking calling my name so I will go and attend to that for now and get all caught up soon.

I was doing so well, and then I had a set back today. I got on the scale and it said I only lost 1/2 lb. I know it's no excuse to overeat, but I did anyway. Sorry guys. OK, now that I've admitted it, I will start over now. Maybe that 10 lb. goal was to much to strive for. Can you please change that to 5 lbs. Thanks, Ms. Perception. I feel awful about this.

tyla, don't feel awful, just work out harder tomorrow to cover those calories and stay on track! You're still doing so well (go for that other five pounds just to show off!).

I lost a bunch of weight a long time ago (never hit goal), and after I quit smoking 11 years ago I gained it all back and never took it off again. I'm remembering how I have to obsess on this whole weight loss topic to stay on top of it. And how hard it is when my coworkers say, What should we do for lunch? and I say, Um, I'm not playing (I'm in the food biz, and we always cook and eat together). But I'm sure I'll be encouraging healthier eating there for everyone. Thank goodness I have all of you to bore to tears with all the trials and tribulations and I re-enter the weight-loss world!

Hey Chickies!

Just a quick fly-by. The scale read 180.4 today and while I'd normally take that as 180 I'm going to go with 181 since I still just can't believe I lost that much weight in a week. I know, I know MsP I just can't seem to get it through my head that I CAN do this weight loss thing, that I have been doing this weight loss thing and that it's actually working. Maybe one of these days it'll sink in.
As for the 2 lbs, that puts me at 45 lbs lost which means I get another dancing fatty in my signature. Six pounds from my original goal now and, as I said before, it's kind of surreal. Great....but surreal.

Have a great weekend everyone!
