darnit, Grace, I figured that other 4 pounder was you, eating 1200 calories and working out a bajillion hours. Wow you lost a lot last week, and you are so much thinner than me! I think you will win this week...this was my TOM and I was sick so I haven't been as motivated to work out...
Or, I could just be telling you that so you slack off...

So my update for yesterday - on plan food wise, 1.5 hrs exercise, and tons of water I got all the pts woot. 7 pts.
Today was chore and work around the house day after church. I ended up with about an hr of exercise, and tons of stuff done. I was proud of myself. I've been cooking several healthy meals on Sunday nights so that I'll have lunches and dinners for DH and I throughout the week. So this week we've got spaghetti (mine with spag squash instead of noodles), chicken noodle soup (lots of broth, and skin removed), salisbury steak, and tons of vegetables. This has really been helping me avoid fast food dinners during the week. Plus after I cook them I pack them into proper serving sizes, so there's no guess work or cheating.
InControl- You're my exercise hero... Way to go on sticking out all the time you hit the gym.
Weebles-you've got to play nice

oops, that was nice!
We do a lot of work on anti-racism and have always involved our daughter. When my daughter was little, she was assigned a project in kindergarten...to make a decorated teepee. We were kindof annoyed (that kind of craft was about 20 years out of date) but she had some very interesting art - she had drawn a man on the teepee, holding a triangle over his head. when we asked her to tell us about it, she told us that it was a pilgrim. When we asked what the triangle was, she sighed, and said, "don't you know? The pilgrim stole the house of the indigenous people."
Cool kid.
I only get 5 points - one for posting, 2 for eating good, 1 for drinking water, and 1 for doing the 2nd day of the 30 day shred and stumbling around for 10 minutes afterward. Have any of you done it? I think I am going to die....
Now, I'm going to have my berry smoothie and relax for the rest of the night. Watching The Librarian with my daughter.

Weebles, we are in a building program so we aren't having dinners right now. We have church in our future dining hall now. We are just starting the new wing. But I go to church in the city, and usually we eat out on Sundays after a long service. I don't worry too much about Sundays, cause it's just too difficult to stick to program that day.
No points for me today, sorry team, I'll get some for us tomorrow.

Hi ladies, just a quick points update:
Pilgrims = 61 pts
Indians=110 pts
and the Point leader is InControl2Day with 44 pts!!
and I know some of you are sad when you post and say that you aren't on plan or aren't getting any points, but remember, you get a point just for checking in each day--even if you aren't plan. The hope is that by checking in you'll keep being reminded and encouraged to get right back on plan.
Yesterdays update-- I was great foodwise , 1 hr exercise and got all my water in = 6 pts.
Weebles- I tried the Shred. I don't think my fitness level was high enough. I had to pause the video about halfway through and take a breather so that I wouldn't pass out That was 20+ lbs ago. I probably could start it again... but I'm skeered .

 hey everyone!
So, I was a back-slidder this weekend. I had a big test last Friday that I don't think I did so well on...but I don't know just yet?!?!?! The started binging Friday due to the stress....and then the binge continued through out the weekend on our trip to Knoxville, TN to watch the TN Vols play. I consumed many high calorie adult beverages...and fried foods...hotdogs...chips...etc.
AHHH....so I'm back on track now dang it! I'm starting to study for my exams/quizzes well in advance to prevent stress binging. I only have 4 weeks of classes left...I'm so ready to get them over with.
Hope you are all doing well!

I love how we all have something in common with each other. Headaches, church, school, high calorie adult beverages...this dratted diet!
Speaking of which, I'm off to pack for my 3 day/2 night weekly trip to school which is hard for me because I'm in class or at my internship church site from about 8am to 9pm (and then studying until I face-plant into my book). It's hard for me to stay on plan for anything but water...so, Pilgrims, it's up to you!
Shari, I'm taking New Testament Greek, and I freaked out when I saw your signature, assuming that I should have been able to read it. I had to look it up, and was relieved to figure out why I didn't know the words. There are no fairies in the Bible! (an unfortunate shame, it would make Sunday School more fun!)

I REALLY want to go to Trader Joes and buy some of my favorite green tea and bergamot drink on Thursday morning.
I'm on track for diet and water, I walked for a half hour today (whoopie!). Two more days of class!
edited - also, I don't have access to a scale Tuesday morning until I get home on Thursday, so hopefully I do well!
