I've been lurking and am finally going to post but I like the idea of accountablility but also the thought of being able to start fresh. So hello to everyone and I hope its OK if i just join in ♥.
Today is tuesday and my goal for today is
drink 8 glasses of H2O
Go to gym
Eat no Chocolate

HI All,

Yesterday dd's birthday and there was cake.
My goals are:
Do not eat after 9pm Ate cake at 9:15
Drink 48 oz water did 24 oz
Don't eat more than 1/2 a slice of cake.

Today:
Eat OP
Drink 48 oz
don't eat after 9pm.

How is everyone?

Wednesday's goals
Work 3 hours on paperwork ... did 2.5 hours

Water exercise ... check

Eat 1250 calories ... ate a little over 1500, which is my "normal" total, but I've been trying to cut back for a few days although not very successfully

You are doing fine! ... thanks! I needed that, LOL!


Thursday's goals

Work 3 hours on paperwork
Water exercise
Eat 1250 calories
Smile! Laugh! And be extra kind to others today

Will do it today. school days seem to be the worst for me. I am going to try to think how I can change things for those days so I am successful.

Smile! Laugh! And be extra kind to others today ... writing this made me think about being kinder and I think I was, at least a little. I read once that "no act of kindness no matter how small is ever wasted." I know when someone is kind to me, it makes me feel so good.

I was thinking about all this because I can sometimes be short with people. The day before yesterday, I wanted to use a two-truck loading zone to unload some stuff for the shop I'm in. Someone had parked right in the middle of the loading zone, so I could barely squeeze in behind them. I was a little miffed.

As I was coming back to my vehicle to leave, the owner of the other truck asked me if I was going to be long. I told her I was leaving, but I was a little short with her and asked her why she was parked in the middle of the loading zone. She said she was moving the stock in her jewelry store, and was sort of saving the loading zone for a bigger truck that was on its way.

Well, I left. But the headline the next day in the paper said "Jewelery store owner dies during move". OMG! It turns out it wasn't her, but her husband. They were moving a big heavy safe with jewelry in it, and it fell on him and killed him. It made me think how short and fragile life is, and that we need to be kind to other people whenever we can.

Friday's goals
Swim laps for 50 minutes ... check! And the only reason I did this -- being Friday night -- is because I wrote it here!
Eat 1250 calories ... 1468, not bad, less than my normal goal. It's really hard to go lower for me.
Be extra kind to others today ... well, I only went out once but I was nice then.
Work 3 hours on paperwork ... check! Finally! More tomorrow!

Eat 1250 calories ... 1483. Again, not bad as my normal goal is 1550, but still over my mini-daily goal. So maybe I need to set my goal about 200 calories lower than I really want to eat. Hmmmm ... what kind of mind game am I playing here? Well, I'll try it.
Work 3 hours on paperwork ... check!
Print 16x20" photos I need for next week ... nope, didn't get to it

Hi Ash -- swimming is *fun* for me, not like a workout at all. The only bad thing is I have long hair and I have to futz with it afterwards.

I had a great "goal" day today!

Sunday goals
Swim laps for 50 minutes ... check
Eat 1100 calories ... 1210!
Finish paperwork: you can do this!!! ... almost finished!
Print panoramic photos ... nope
Read my positive goals at least 2x ... I'm going to read them for the second time right now
