Hi, CJ

Yesterday, water yes!, exercise yes! And got a lot of cleaning done. I did eat way too much though.

Today's goals

Drink 32 oz water
Do a few quick and easy exercises
Only 3 meals!!! Being having 4 eating with my daughter again when she gets home from work.
Take some time to refocus and plan my diet for the week, so I can show a loss on Thursday before I eat turkey.

Last week I was out of the game. My husband, baby, and I all had colds, and it was comfort foods and resting instead of working out and eating well. Now I need to get back on the wagon. Todays goals: exercise and throw away all the bad foods in kitchen.

I was posting yesterday's goals but it was so late in the day, I decided to wait.

Today's Goals
40 points or less
48 oz water
1 m exercise

Run my daughter around looking for a better job to drop off resumes.

Hi, ladies! I've been looking for an active daily (or nearly daily) thread to check in on. I've weighed more, and weighed somewhat less, but essentially I've been over 200 lbs most of my adult life, mostly in the 220-230 range. I re-gained over 20 hard-lost pounds since summer 2008.

Just had oral surgery yesterday, so I should lose a little this week !

Today's goals:
  • slurp down three meals as planned
  • slurp down two and only snacks, as planned
  • Don't look for comfort in the kitchen

Hi Peggy and JudyDC (and anyone else?). Hope everyone nails their goals today! I have done really really well this week with my eating, and I think I might make my Thanksgiving goal of 229. I have not been in the 220's for probably 15 years or more. Hope! Hope! Work! Work!

Yesterday was a wash for me, I was gone all day. But I need to learn to work around that.

Todays Goals:
Water 36 oz or more
2 fruits
40 points or less
Prepare a couple Lower Calorie snacks
Exercise

Clean house.

Thanks for the welcome, Peggy and CJ!

I met my goals yesterday, which were pretty straightforward. I can't do much chewing, but it's easy to sip or gum down an extra 200 calories here, an extra 150 cals there. I have a list of chores and movies to keep me busy. I want to go over to the gym for a light workout, and maybe check out a matinee. Besides still being a bit achy and swollen from the surgery, most of my upper teeth are at the lab until Monday. So I'm hesitant to venture out, but I can't hide out all week....I'll just smile a lot and keep my lips pressed together!

Wednesday's goals:
  • Make up the day's menu, and stick with it
  • Go to the gym or work out at home
  • Read another chapter or two of The Four-Day Diet

Hi all! Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm traveling today (yup, flying on Thanksgiving!) and my main goal is to be very mindful while eating airport food. I also don't want to eat those pretzels they give you on the plane. I never drink sugary drinks, so I'll just have water on the plane, no problem for me there.

I didn't quite reach my goal of 229 this morning, but I'm really close and maybe by being super careful today I can eek it out tomorrow morning.

I hope everyone's enjoying their holiday! I'm having a quiet, meditative day at home, which for me is a good way to start the hyper-social season of feasting, gifts, traveling and parties. Especially when so many folks are struggling, it feels important to stop and take stock of all that I have to be grateful for.

I met my goals yesterday . I did go to the gym, for just 40 minutes of cardio, and saw a matinee (Pirate Radio).

Thanksgiving Day goals:
  • Follow my eating plan
  • Work out at the gym
  • Do 3 Thanksgiving meditations

Happy Black Friday! No shopping for me. It was delightful to sleep in this morning. I did well, but not perfectly, on yesterday's goals. I ate on plan, and meditated (although not three times) and worked out (but at home, not the gym). It was a weirdly solitary T'giving, but very relaxing. I slept like a baby last night and feel great this morning.

Friday's goals:
  • Follow my eating plan
  • Go to the gym
  • Tackle and finish at least one project or chore

Since I've been out all week, I brought work home with me. It will fill good to get at least one work-related task (besides responding to emails) done before Monday. And I have a long list of house projects to choose from, from cleaning out a closet to starting my Christmas cards.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Yes!!!! 228.6 today! I am in the 220s!!! The first time in probably 15 years!!!!!

Hi everyone -- hard to get to 3FC, so I'm just leaving a drive by message that I reached my Thanksgiving goal! Will change ticker later ...what is WRONG with the site??? Anyone know?
