Ooooh, I'm the first to reply? Whoa! Cool!

Okay, so here's what I'm shootin' for this month~

Continue HIIT 3 Days a week
Continue ST'ing (Strength Training) 3 Days a week

I'm going to add...

C25K (the Couch 2 5K) Program 3 Days a week

And I'm *thinking* about attempting Pilates this month--I'm not committing to doing it a lot or anything--just committing to trying it!

I look forward to another active month with you ladies!!! :)

Delphi 07-29-2009 12:21 PM

:woohoo:

Alright this month, I'm gonna stick with the 2500 minutes of exercise and get in two workouts a day, six days a week.

Newshinyme 07-29-2009 12:36 PM

For August I am going to do what I was supposed to do in July:

Complete a minimum of 850 minutes; complete a new EA Active 30 Day Challenge; work out 6 days a week

mygritsconfessions 07-29-2009 12:41 PM

Ok, I'm joining, because I need some serious motivation to stick with it, and a kick-in-the-butt!

I plan on cardio every other day for 45 minutes and on opposite days for 35 minutes.

p7eggyc 07-29-2009 01:17 PM

I'm in again. I am increasing my July goal by 10% to 880 minutes.

Peg

TERAPET 07-29-2009 01:55 PM

My Exercise goal for August is 1600 minutes.

mamatoni 07-29-2009 02:30 PM

This year I AM GOING to stick with my exercise when I go back to work on August 10th, so my goal for August:

Hey, :thanks: for explaining that acronym! I was having a hard time imagining what all this ST'ing was ;)

I think I am going to try weekly goals this time, except for stretching - just 15 min - every day. C'mon, I can find just 15 minutes to stretch out, right? My new exercise habit has made me quite stiff...

The very general goals:
  1. Plan out the specific schedule each week (and stick to it!)
  2. >3.5 hours cardio/week
  3. > 1 hour ST'ing/week
  4. 15 min stretching/day

FullSteamAhead 07-29-2009 03:48 PM

FullSteamAhead: 1,000 min.
crazymamaof4: Continue HIIT 3x/wk, continue ST 3x/wk, add C25K 3x/wk, + trying pilates.
Delphi: 2,500 min. of exercise..get in 2 workouts a day 6 days a week.
NewShinyMe: Complete 850 min. minimum, complete new EA active 30 day challenge, and workout 6 days a week.
mygritsconfessions: cardio every other day for 45 min, + 35 min. on opposite days.
p7eggyc: Increasing goal by 10% to 880 minutes.
TERAPET: 1600 min. exercise
mamatoni: exercise at least 5 days a week
EmmaD: Plan out and stick to a specific schedule each week, 3.5 hrs.cardio/wk, 1hr. ST/wk, + 15 min. stretching a day.

Hi ladies.........nice to see you all. :welcome2: to our team for those of you who are joinin in and welcome back to us all : ).. THis is our master list so far.

iDream 07-29-2009 05:52 PM

Oooh, hey NSM~ I might have to join you on the EA Active 30 Day Challenge!! :) Hmm, would that be too much do ya think? I bet Delphi will say 'Heck NO!!! Just DO IT!!' ;)

Newshinyme 07-29-2009 06:44 PM

LOL! On top of HIIT and C2K? You can always make it a light workout I guess.
I'd love to have you keep me company but only if you're not killing yourself in the process :D

Delphi 07-29-2009 06:58 PM

Urg, I love ya NSM, but man, that EA Active just really burns me up. I get so mad when I turn it on, I just want to chuck it out the window, get my car, run over it and then shift to reverse and run over it again. I'm trading it in to gamestop this weekend for Punch Out. Sorry ladies!

iDream 07-29-2009 08:20 PM

Oooh Delphi! You really, really hate it don't you? Hmm, I wonder...should I trade mine in before I even try it? ;) Nah...I think I'll give it a go and if I hate it as much as you do--I'll trade it in. :)

NSM~ I think maybe I'll do the EA challenge on the days that I do the C25K, maybe do one early in the morning and one at night? Hmm...I tell ya what, I won't flat out commit to doing it just yet, but I'll give it a go--why not? :D

pucedaisy 07-29-2009 09:41 PM

OK, this is a first time for me. My exercise goal for August is to do yoga twice a week and to get in a good walk every day. I know it doesn't sound like much, but when I do it, it works for me.
