My Minutes:
8/1: 32 min Wii Fit, 70 min walk, 18 min bike (4 miles)
8/2: 33 min walk/run (C25K W6 D2), 60 min walk
8/3: 30 min ST'ing, 10 min walk (warm-up), 10 min elliptical
8/4: 33 min walk/run (C25K W6 D3)
8/5: 20 min bike (4.5 miles), 60 min walk
8/6: 35 min [(25 run/10 walk) C25K W7 D1], 40 min ST'ing, 30 min golf (driving range, etc.)
8/7: Planned day off
Total Week #1: 464 minutes

8/8: 20 min walk, lots of packing/moving boxes
8/9: 35 min (C25K W7 D2)
8/10: 40 min ST'ing, 30 min bike (7.1 miles), 60 min walk
8/11: 35 min (C25K W7 D3), 30 min Pilates
8/12: 15 min yoga, 15 min Wii Fit, 60 min walk, 30 min bike (7.1 miles)

I did not love my dvd from the library today. The pilates (yesterday) one I may get eventually, because it would really challenge me, but the yoga chick today was not my type, if you kwim. I did a little over 15 min and then had to stop because I hated her style. No Love Connection there! I wish I had liked it because the exercises were decent and I felt the core muscles working, but she drove me nuts! Oh well, that's why I TRY them first. I'm picky I guess, but why not be if I gonna try to watch/do the dvd on a regular basis.

SG~ Hey girlie, just wanted to let you know what the ol' HRM said during my workout this morning! According to the HRM, I burned 285 cals during the 34 mins and 46 seconds I was working out. I did the standard fast paced walk for 5 mins and after the intervals I kept up the fast paced walking for the 5 min cool down with a slow paced walk for 2 mins after that. Just for the heck of it, here's the stats from the HRM:
Duration: 34:46, Time Spent In Zone (the target HR zone) 19:45, Avg HR 142, Max HR 184, Cals 285
Odd, I really didn't feel like I was pushing myself and yet the HRM alarm (that signals when you're under or over your target HR) was going off every time I ran because I was over 156. I might have to tweek my settings a bit and see if I've my target HR set correctly...I'm so new to this stuff I have no idea! Anyway, there ya go!! Have fun on W2D2 if you haven't done it already!!!

Tomorrow is my planned day off, but DH and I are going golfing, so I'll still get plenty of exercise (we walk the 9-hole course). I'm thrilled to get my exercise done early in the day today, so I don't have that nagging feeling like something is incomplete all day!

Another hour in on the Wii Fit today.....am hoping to try Turbo Jam again later today (EDIT: Got in 45 mins). Realized I really gotta keep at to catch up since I started this challenge a week late and then left for a few more days!

Scale was down 2 more pounds today since last Sunday!

Thanks FullSteamAhead! I think the Wii is my saving grace, lol. With a little one in tow 24/7 now, and the stroller still at the old house, working out is a little more of a challenge! But she has fun doing the Wii with me, or at least she can play with toys while I do it. I started out just doing the balance games last year, and then it sat for literally the rest of the year, but now I am doing everything from the strength training to aerobics. I try to do the things that are still hard for me and have done the whole island run the past few days ago...which since I avoided running like the plague before is saying something!

My goal is to walk 6 days a week: Mon thru Friday, 1/2 hour in the morning before work (and if time allows, at least 1/2 hr in the evening after supper); and 1 hour on Saturday or Sunday.
