Hi, thought I might have lost ya there.... But am glad you are on board for Feb. I am keeping my goal at 50 because it is a short month......... I can always push for more If I have the time. Today, I got out because the weather was GORGEOUS!!! and tomorrow it is supposed to be cold and they are calling for snow!!! I can't wait until spring! Anywho, I walked for 3.8 miles today, and did upper body weight routine. Hope you got some mileage in too.

glad to see you all wanting to join, the more the merrier!!!! I did a bunch of sleding, snowball fighting, and tromping in the snow today!!! but not sure the mileage. Will get back to conventional miles tomorrow, today will just count as too much fun!!!!

QUESTION


I have a quick question???? I put on pedometer when i get out my car at the university because i walk around campus all day....right now im at 2.18 and i havent been on the treadmill or walkin yet...Is my walkin around the campus excluded..beacuse i park even futher from class to boost my miles...is this a yes or no?????????????????

I use a pedometer, and I know that i usually walk about 3000 steps in any given day, so If I make little changes during my day(parking farther), I give myself anything over my average. I try not to use it as my primary source of exercise, but somedays that is all I get. I really need to get sweaty to make a difference, but I was told if you did it purposely as extra exercise, it counts.
Today I walked 7500 steps (3.55 miles) So I am gonna count 1.75 miles!
Just my opinion and how I do it , use your judgement!

I'm here I'm here!!!

I got 2 miles in on Sunday. My fiancé surprised me with a trip to Monterey and we walked on the wharf and around the city. I haven't hit the gym but I am tomorrow. I am itching to get on that bike. LOL but I got 2 miles in so I am happy about that.

I am sooooo happy there are so many new people. Lewisempire kicked butt last month so I am going to try and follow in her footsteps this month.
