Who's up for Jillians 30 day shred- starting 12/12
Hello- I saw the November starters thread, so correct me if there's already a December thread too.
I'm starting Jillian's 30 Day Shred for the first time, starting the week 12/12 (for me, whenever the disk gets in to the library, it's almost there).
Feel free to join if you're starting anytime around there, or for long-time shredders, come on in and give us your insight!
Who else wants to start with me?? Let's support each other and share our experiences and results.
One rule, ladies- you have to go through with the whole 30 days!
On the day you start, take your measurements and your weight and share, and we'll so the same at the end!

Get any weights you feel comfortable with. I started with 5lbs and man did it do a number on me.

I just ordered Jillian's DVD. Hopefully it will be here shortly so I can start close to on time with you guys! I'm excited! I want to lose this weight so bad.
BTW, I'm doing Weight Watchers along with it also.

When I've done workout videos in the past, my bf is nice enough to comply when I ask him to go out for a half an hour or so.
Something like..."so, do you have any errands to run, today?" usually works.
Plus, he gets so excited that I'm doing crazy workout videos (I've done tai chi and belly dancing in the past) he's more than happy to let me do it.

I just ordered the DVD, too. I'll also be starting on the 15th, since I'll be out of town the 12-14th. I am really looking forward to it. I have "heard" people rave about how well this DVD works on 3FC, so let's give it a go!

Hello all! I just got Jillians 30DS and am excited! I am started today!
20 minutes a day is not alot to ask for ourselves, we deserve this!

I just got my 30 Day Shred DVD today too!! YAY!! I think I checked my mail 10 times in the last 2 days! LOL
I did the first level.  Whoo Hoo! My legs were quivering after. LOL
Hope I'm not too sore to do it tomorrow.
I bought her Making the Cut book too. I'll start reading that tonight.
Can't wait to lose some of this weight!

I am down for this challenge too! I have most of her dvds but the 30 Day Shred is a butt kicker!!!
I will start tonight. I will check in later and let you know how it goes.
Jessica Rae, I got her Making the Cut book and that one is great too. Really, has helped me to follow the diet suggestions. I have a lot more energy now.

I have been so sore! lol So I skipped my workout yesterday, because it hurt to even walk.
I ended up forcing myself to do the workout today. I made it through Day 2!  I'm not feeling too bad now. A lot of the soreness has gone away.
I'm feeling really great doing it. It motivates me the rest of the day to firm everything up.

I want to join in too! I actually did it yesterday, I'm on and off with it since I got it a few weeks ago. I have already done all the levels, and what I do is alternate so I do level 1 day 1, level 2 the next day, level 3 the next and then start over. I need variety and think that the results are better by mixing things up.
So today is day 2 for me. I use 5 lb weights for chest, back, bicep and compound movements. For anything that involves shoulders I use 3 lb weights to avoid injuring those joints.
