Did ok today. Got about 50min of exercise and 64oz water. Not totally sure of my calorie count because I ate some chex mix tonight that my sister brought but I'm guessing around 1800. I need to stay on track tomorrow.

Down # 1 again this week. Gotta keep focus despite the goodies that are suddenly creepong up everywhere. Plus, TOM is about to hit. Last month I gained #3 from all the carbs!
JCat- Good to see you back.
Nix- I'm planning a C25K day myself. Found it hard to get day 2 in this week,
MTig- I've read a couple articles about upping the calories when you work out frequently. It may have even been on the resistance training board. Then again, we're all different. Right now being super careful about my portions and treats and changing the workout up seems to be working.
Shout out to all!
Where's Holy? NMichelle? Aud?

I've got the Christmas blues. Still stuck and of course, at 200.4. Just over that 200 mark. Can I just say s***. I am trying to eat a little more, but not go crazy. Nothing else has helped, so I might as well try that.
Grazer- If you find any valuable info, please send it my way.
On a good not, I am almost finished with Christmas shopping. Just a few people left.

Girls, I need your help.
For the last two days, I've been such a lazybones. My eating has been near perfect but I just can't get my butt moving.
So....
I need some , talking tos, bribes, threats, whatever you can throw at me!

JL- It's all part of the process. Some times I give into the lazy days and other days I talk myelf into it. Thinking a head to the rush I get after I exercise nudges me along too.
I have discovered the mint Hershey's Kisses. Not a good discovery for me. I'm a little off with eating this weekend but not as bad as I want to me. I'm thinking about the 150s for Christmas- not sure how long that will be motivate me.

I was reading about a way to jump start weight loss when having a plateau. They said, don't work out and up calories for 5 days. give the body a rest. Then after 5 days start working out again and cut the calories back down. This is day 3 with no workout and a few more groceries in the belly. I haven't gone crazy, but haven't counted a thing. We'll see what happens.
Today I was down a wee little bit. 199.8

Evening ladies.
Looking forward to Monday ~ if you can believe that. Had another off weekend. Today especially. BF and I having a difficult time communicating with each other in any cordial fashion apparently. Just one of those days.
So I am currently eating ice cream and posting after literally being on my feet (or hands and knees) scrubbing the house since about 8:30 am. I have this upcoming Friday off, we had the kids all weekend, and I want a perfect house to wake up to on MY DAY OFF. I think I have been overwhelmed at work, at home and just want to check out. I serious hope it is raining cats and dogs on friday so I can sit at home with a blanket a book, some soup and the remote. I'm seriously on the verge of getting in my car and driving anywhere for like 2 days. Ugh. Just wanna break.
anywho... Mtig- good plan. I actually have a good friend to who pull the no exercise, up the calorie trick and it works. Have faith!
JLea~ just listen to your body and your head. If you need a rest, then rest. If what you know you really need is to get the blood pumping to beat the letharic monster, then do it! I am (obviously ) ready for a mental health day.
Hello to all you other lovely weeders! Grazie, Ruthie, Butterfly, Sassy, Neesy, L4HIm... whew... hopefully will get to read and catch up on posts after a bit. If not I will type to you all tomorrow!

Scale was down this morning 169.2 Finally in the 160s! I did sleep in this morning after going to bed real late last night so I weighed an hour or two later than normal but still I'm excited.
I didn't eat that great yesterday but not that bad but I guess after all the exercise I've been doing its finally starting to show up on the scale. This motivates me to keep on the right track.
Hope you all are having a good Monday!!

I hope to find a new link momentarily....I have issues with the website reloading pages.
anywhoo, i'm making a new goal for myself. Not a weight goal though. I start my last set of classes tomorrow. My goal is to work out at least 6 days a week if not all 7 days until I finish school. That's 7 weeks away. Even if it's walking the dog for 20 minutes, it's more than what i'm doing now. I'm also going to try and focus on what I eat for dinner, that's always a problem.
I hope you ladies are doing well. I'll be back later to post more

Holyteror, that is ALOT of exercise. Don't over do it. You might get burned out.
This has been my first week of dieting again. I lost 6 pounds so far.. but I'm sure its just water weight. How long do you think it takes before you start losing ACTUAL weight?

Neesy- first weeks are always fun. I am sure some of your loss is actual fat, not all water. I never lost big like that. My first MONTH I lost 9 pounds. I was thrilled. Then things slowed down, ALOT. I can't sem to make any progress lately. Thus the reason for me taking a mini-break. I work out everyday, I miss very few. And it is pretty intense stuff too, like BL Cardio Max, Jillian's Shred, Kickboxing, jogging, etc.
I am hoping my break will jump start the metabolism and get me losing again. Something has got to give.

Happy Monday!
Neesy.. I lost 6 lbs of water weight in 2005 and am still waiting for the ACTUAL weight to come off. Just kidding. Well... kinda. If the scale is moving down... your body is getting rid of what ever is supposed to go I guess. Just keep up the good work!
Just go off the treadmill for 45 minutes. 1st half about 75% of my C25K W2D2 (Run 90 secs Walk 2min right?). Anywho. I had to. Ate at red robin for lunch and blew my cals off the charts. So going to eat turkey burger tacos on green leaf. be back later to catch up!
Kris

Hey Tiger, I know what it's like to plateau. I do it everytime I diet. I lose twenty pounds, then plateau for months, then I just give up and gain it all back. I hope I'll be stronger this time. We'll get there eventually!
Nixmom, I'm okay if it is just water weight. I'm going to start excersing tomorrow. I know I'll start toning eventually if I keep a routine up. Oh, and red robin sounds soooo good! I'm jealous. But I have to get where you are. In the 1-somethings.

Morning all!
It appears that a Week 2 thread was started but I dont see that Grazer posted it. And I was wondering why this thread was so quiet. Maybe we should all head over there? Here's the link!
