Alright girls - it's time to GET BUSY! The sign ups are OVER and I have the list of people that will be blowing through the pounds in time for to bring NEW CLOTHES!!!
Here's the way it works. Our weeks run Friday - Thursday. All weighins MUST BE PM'D TO ME BY 11:59 PM (EST) on THURSDAYS EVERY WEEK! There are NO FREEBIES for this CHALLENGE! (It's only 4 weeks long!)
So Here's the run down - Find you Normal Weigh in day - and the dates following will be the date that you PM me your weigh in for the week.
Thanks so much for organising this, it seems like such a fantastic idea. I'm new to the forums and this is my first challenge - I've just got a couple of questions, if that's ok, because I want to know I'm doing everything right!
Say I pick Friday as my weigh-in day. I would PM you on every Friday date that you listed, as soon as possible after I'd weighed, right? Then, if the challenge ends at Christmas, do I need to then PM you on that day too (because my first weigh-in day is on the second day of the challenge, and my last weigh-in day is 6 days before the end). Or is my last weigh-in actually the weight I give you on Friday 19th December? I just wanted to check so to make sure I'm doing everything right.

If your weigh in day is Friday, then your first weigh in would be tomorrow (this is why I have a week for sign ups) and your last weigh in would be the 19th. You can weigh in ANY DAY of the week, but I MUST get your weight by THURSDAY of each week.

Hey! I have been busy so I didn't think I would have time for another challenge.. then.. once the turkey one finished.. I realize that DANG IT i miss you guys already! I know i'm too late to sign up But I hope I can still come in and ramble away with you guys and get my bowl full of jelly to at least be down to half full of jelly. So i'm alread OVER my starting weight of 2 days ago.. but umm well i promise to make up for it! I'm getting back to the gym HARDCORE starting MOnday.. yeah yeah.. i know.. the ol' 'I'll start on monday' thang.. hehe buti will! i really will!!
I'm so excited already jumping on it.. lol I just joined the gym for the first time on Monday so I have been going there lately!! I feel great afterwards and this challenge just keeps kicking my butt in gear!! Hoping the results are good!!
Hope everyone's doing well for the first day of the challenge! I'll be weighing in every Wednesday from now on.
To maybe get some conversation going on in here... I'd be curious to know what plan everyone is following to reach their Christmas goal, both eating and exercise wise.
I started counting calories a few weeks ago. I track on the Daily Plate everyday and try to stay around 1300 or so. I also started a new workout plan this week, alternating between my Jari Love DVD's and pilates six times a week.
We just got home a little while ago so I haven't been on here since Wednesday night. I didn't weigh this morning because I wasn't home. I'm not sure I want to weigh tomorrow after all the eating I did yesterday and today but I am ready to get back on track and lose my bowl full of jelly. I'm going to especially work hard the next two weeks because I will be turning 30 on 14th.
I have been counting calories for the past few weeks and it has been helping me (I try to keep them around 1400-1700) and I have been doing weight/strength training more than I ever have in the past. I bought 30 day shred and have done it once and boy was I sore!
I'm so excited to have joined this challenge! I am hoping to lose 5 pounds so that I will be in the 170s for the new year. My weigh in day will be on Thursdays so that I don't forget to PM Envy. I am just going to do the calorie counting thing so that I don't feel too restricted. I think that 1200 to 1400 calories will be my goal. I hope that this works!
Hey girls! I hope that everyone is doing well I spent the day thus far putting up Christmas decorations. I still have to finish a quilt for tomorrow, do my 30 DS and just relax w/ my hubby tonight and it's already 8 PM!!! I've had a pretty lazy day today. I throughly enjoyed it though, and I still have 2 more days off... I paid holidays!
Alright - I need to get my butt moving so that I can get everything done.
