Nessa - i hope you're right! I have gained during this challenge.. so i'm aiming for #1.6 for this week!!! I want to show at least a little loss for the challenge!!! I'm SO glad that it's a short work week! I'm going to attempt to start doing a 10-15 min dvd in the morning too... I have time if I shower the night before. I have a GREAT 10 min ab routine DVD - and Goodness knows that my lower ab area is DEFINATELY my biggest problem area. I'll let you all know how it goes. I also need to start doing my pushups again. I think it's time to buck up and work. I want to hit my ultimate goal by the end of next year - which means I need to consistently lost #1 a week!!! Which isn't hard, but I have to stick to it - and not falter too much!!!

Happy Birthday Hattie!!!
I've been MIA from the internet since Thursday. It was my son's birthday party on Saturday. So on Friday and Saturday all I did was cook and clean the house. It was alot to do. I wish cleaning the house would count as miles to the party since I definitly would have been there by now. I'm only 3 miles away. I can't wait. I though I would have been there on Friday, but since I was busy I didn't workout. I didn't eat the best this weekend, but I didn't eat too much. I definitly could have eaten alot more. I love lasagna, cake, ice cream, etc. So today is my son's 2nd birthday. I can't believe 2 years ago he was born. It's amazing how time flies. I can't even imagine being pregnant again. I don't know how I even sat at the computer with a big big belly!
I am thankful for:
My healthy and beautiful son
My loving husband
My family
My health
My job
My friends in the "real" world
All my friends here at 3FC

Thanks again for the bday wishes! Here is a balloon for you: Take one and pass them around. It is my present to you all for being so nice and sharing my bday with me
STNessa: Congrats!! You are here at the plantation!!! Lets go over to the bar and have a drink to celebrate!!!
scarahjs: Happy birthday to your adorable 2yr old son!!!! Enjoy the time he is little...it goes soooo fast!
FB: I give you a lot of credit for doing what you do...especially at the holidays. I don't know that I would have the patience.
Question: What are you planning to eat on Thanksgiving and what will you pass on.
I am planning to eat: Turkey, sweet potatoes(no marshmallows, sugar, or butter), greenbeans, turnips, and maybe a small dinner roll. No dessert...not interested anyway. So that will be my pass plus mashed potatoes and stuffing. Does anyone know if there is a low calorie cranberry sauce? I love that stuff!!

Hattie well I plan to have some ham and turkey with a little mashed potatoes and gravy with some green beans. This is my ultimate Thanksgiving dinner. I don't really eat desserts because they are usually pies and I don't like Pies!!!
FB so how was the last half of your weekend? Sounds like you had a crazy weekend but since it is all in the spirit
Black Friday- My sis and I have a blast shopping together it is our bonding time! Like last year we ate supper at 5:30 and left town at 7 to sit out all night (really all night) in line at Best Buy till they opened at 5 am and you know at the time it was cold but we had fun and we are going to do it again this year!!!! Then we drive to other stores for the great shopping specials till about noon then drive home - we live a half hour away from the city. You know some years we don't even really buy a ton but just to watch some of the people in the stores all freaking out and going nuts over stuff makes it all worth while
Enygirl you know abs (tummy) is my worst area as well and that area is the hardest for me as well!!! But I will keep plugging away
Nessa79 great job on getting to this goal, you rock
Well have a great night Everyone!!!

Good morning all! What's this? Everyone is slowing down on the posts at the very end?!? This is when we really need to finish strong, encourage each other, this is when it counts!!
I plan on working out extra hard tonight. I don't want to start the Christmas challenge being lazy. As for Thursday, I'm planning on eating anything & everything that I want -- I'm just going to be sensible about the portions. I'm thinking turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, dinner rolls, then dessert. I'm making a pecan pie & pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Both are yum but I'll have a little of both & then call it a day. What's probably going to trip me up is my Mom's fruit salad... oh sure sounds healthy but it tastes way too good so you know it's not. It's the
 for the last few days!

Hey guys - the weekend was pure and utter MADNESS! Crazy I tell you! So stressful my weight went up despite staying on plan, that sucks.
Mod - I have been meaning to tell you but keep forgetting - your photos are great! You didn't need to be embarrassed about posting them, they're terribly wonderful and inspirational. Rock on!
I went Thanksgiving shopping with my MIL in the guise of 'helping'. I was really just trying to ensure there would be something for me to eat that doesn't include slathering oil or loading pounds of butter on.
Looking forward to tomorrow's final weigh in, I think Hope that stress weight goes back down today.

FB-- I am almost ready to post one more pic of me now, in progress, b/c I am about 10 pounds less and DH says I am looking a lot more toned and firm. I don't know...... Seems whenever I take a pic and look at it, I look so much huger than I thought I was looking and almost get discouraged again.....
Anyway, DH is saying recently I'm looking so much better! He even has used the H word (hot! hehe, what did you think I meant?) I am once again in the low 180's so will finish strong. I am exercising like a fiend and *banking* my calories for this Thursday/Friday. I heard on the news the average American eats 4,000 calories for TG dinner!!! Wow, that's a lot! Stuffing is the worse thing, apparently. Worse than pumpkin pie! (BTW, pumpkin is better than apple or pecan.....)
I plan on running 45 minutes in my neighborhood early Thursday morning while turkey is in oven. Good Luck to everyone else this week--gotta get back to work!

Hi everyone
modcat: Just saw your pics. You look incredible!!! Way to go!!!
StNessa: Pecan Pie is my favorite and I guess I am glad nobody will be making it. Your pumpkin choc. chip thingys sound great also. Enjoy for me! But don't over...joy!
AHHHH!! Only a couple more days and I can't get the last 2 lbs off! Oh well... I at least lost 8 of the 10. That isn't so bad.
Thankful today for: Laughter. Where would we be without it?

I'm so glad I already weighed in this week, and tomorrow I'll be back on track, but I binged today like I haven't in a long time.
I found out that my boss (also a good friend) is going to be gone and hospitalized until her baby is born, and we had not even begun to plan for her maternity leave. She isn't due until mid-Feb. She's an awesome person and an awesome boss, so I am going out of my mind with worry. Her leaving unexpectedly has also caused an avalanche of work for me and I just don't see how it can all get done. Eating four cinnamon rolls for breakfast may not have solved any of those problems, but it did leave me with a major cinnamon roll hangover. If only it had been alcohol- I probably wouldn't feel so awful.
Situations that I can't fix are the worst for me. I have a really hard time letting go of my illusion of control. Thanks for letting me vent.

mod -I HATE pictures of myself.
Nessa - For some reason I've been having problems with this site while I'm at work - that's why you haven't seen me around the last few days as much. Trust me though - I'M FINISHING OUT STRONG!!! I just completed day 7 of level 2 of 30 day shred. It feels GOOD! I have to make it through the next 23 days!!! Only 3 more on level 2 though.
Remember girls - there's only 2 days left of the challenge! I'll still post the final results on Friday to see how great we all did!
Remember also for those that want to continue with us crazies in the "Getting rid of my bowl full of jelly" challenge - the last day to sign up is tomorrow!
OK - Off for now... going to put DD in bed.

Anytime Pat....I was actually at the Titans vs. Jets game......and although the Titans lost....I had a good time! We had freakin' awesome seats in the lower level......I was hoping the Titans would continue to 11-0...but of course they lose the game I go to....LOL! I'm glad to see the Colts doing a bit better....I am afraid they may not even make it to the playoffs this year...I think Peyton is starting to get back into the groove of things since having his surgery.....but as for the rest of the team.....I think there are several injuries...I haven't been able to keep up very well this season due to all my classes and tests and such...
Welpers...I'm gonna go to bed! Later ladies!

Hey all!
How's everyone's last days going? My final weigh in is tomorrow morning so I just worked out for an hour and drinking a whole lotta water. I ate too big of a dinner so now I'm feeling guilty. It was one of those mindless eating episodes. My teenage neighbor stopped by while I was getting ready to eat & she was talking to me about anything & everything and I just kept eating and then got up and got more... when she left I had the "what in the ****" moment when I realized exactly how much I ate. So I changed into my work out clothes and busted my butt.
When I get off of here I have to start baking some cookies. We were invited to have a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with our neighbors tomorrow. I just love my neighborhood! But now I have 2 days that I have to control my portions. At least my weigh in will be done beforehand!
And can I just say that I feel like such a loser because I have no intention of going shopping on Friday. I have never gone Christmas shopping on Black Friday and I doubt I ever will. The crowds of people don't excite me. I mean, I am the person at the grocery store that wants to yell "Move it along Grandma!" so yeah crowds and me don't mesh well. And even though I work with kids & love them to death - I very much dislike strollers in public places. Especially when the kids not even in them. Sorry all those Moms out there. I know one day it'll be me with that stroller but right now I can't stand them. That and kids who throw tantrums and their parents beg them to stop. See! I'm already getting myself worked up about going to the stores & the malls and it hasn't even happened yet!
BUT ANYWAY -- faux - I hope there is a New Years challenge because I'd be all over it. I think I'm getting addicted to these challenges & working out. I like it. I like it alot.
jeannep - it's all good. Just take a deep breath - inhale, exhale - and now pick up where you left off.
hattie - I'm making a pecan pie because it's not my favorite. One way to control myself
mod - you sound so in control. Mind passing some of that over here?
fb - Good luck with tomorrows weigh in! I'm sure you'll be just fine if not awesome.
eny - you're a much stronger woman than me. I started that 30 day shred & had to stop because I think Jillian is evil. She looks into the camera with such anger & disgust. I need Leslie who cuddles and soothes.
stephi - great job!
reda - thanks for the encouragement!
See you all tomorrow!!!
