Staying the same even after demolishing one of my kids white chocolate chip pancakes at the diner yesterday. It was sooooo good I should of never had that first bite, but I only ate one and there was still 2 left so really that was a victory.
I am sososososo hoping for the 160's by Wednesday, which is the weigh-in day for the Biggest Loser's contest my friends and I are doing. Team pressure and all! I'm almost there, sooooo close.
After that big whoosh recently I've noticed my body changing, although the scale isn't. Pants are all becoming looser, new size! Muscles are more defined, face features more angular. Yes! It's more fun than the scale drop was. If only weight loss could always be like that, nice big loss for two weeks and then dramatic body changes the next two. What a fun cycle that would be.
I've been pumping up the jam on strength training and think that accounts for the slower loss. I am sore and retaining water.
i'm depressed, making poor choices and surely gaining weight
Hey, Miriam, you're here, so you have a place to start from. Weigh in in the morning and join in. Don't make a bunch of overwhelming plans - just weigh in and post!
Scale hasn't budged in a couple days but I did drop a lot of weight during the last challenge (4.5lb =D)so I'm good with it. Seems like I drop a lot over a day or two and then remain hte same for a few days. My goal is to have a 220 number in the next challenge for my GW.
