I don't know what it is about this time of the year, but I accomplish more in the Fall than any other time. I think it's the fresh air since now it's cool enough to open the windows. I got plenty of exercise in today, got my housework done, and finished the first stage of our Halloween pinata. We are having our Halloween party this year like every year. We are doing quite a bit more this year plus Madison is the age now where she can enjoy it. I still haven't picked up her a costume yet. Everytime I find a cute one she says that she doesn't want it.
Remember a few weeks ago when i lost 6 lbs and said I would NEVER see 170 on the scale again? Well i was partially right. I weighed after a week of binge eating Monday and was 171.5. I gain and lose weight faster than anyone i know. I weighed in today at 170. I am going to weigh in everyday to keep myself on track. Nineteen days and 20 pounds to go! I don't think it's possible, but we shall see. I might have to remove a limb...lol.
HolyT-Hope you start feeling better soon!
Jen-Stay safe!!
Michelle-You are invited to my Halloween party!!
Lea-Sounds like things are starting to look up for you!
Nixmom-Congrats on quitting smoking!! Any cravings? Just curious how long the cravings last since I would like to quit myself.
Mtiger-Think positive!!
My WEED for tomorrow is
W-32
E-Gazelle, bike, anything is better than nothing.
E-1000-1200 cals
D-Stay focused!

Mtiger, lots of protein and nonstarchy carbs! Eat atleast 3-4oz of protein every meal and for a snack 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. 1/2 cup of cottage cheese is just as good as a protein drink. If you can cut down your carbs and sodium for a week you should break through your plateau. If you can't avoid high carb foods eat them before 3pm. That way you have a chance to burn them off. Thats how I ate the the previous 2 years and lost over a hundred pounds. I have gained some back here and there and still haven't hit my goal weight but I haven't been eating right lately. The weeks I do eat right I have lost up to 9 lbs. I just lost 6 lbs a few weeks ago, of course I gained it back but I'm working on that. My problem is that i can't commit for more than a week at a time. I give myself a cheat meal after one week and it all goes down hill after that.lol Try it and let me know if it works.

Hey all! How is everyone doin? I keep floundering around. Not terrible, but not POP. I need to work out, it's been awhile. Maybe tomorrow.

Does anyone do the "sweetest day" thing? (it's tomorrow BTW) Yes, we know it is a "made up" holiday, or a "hallmark holiday" but we do sappy stuff like that. It's a nice reason-for-no-reason to be loving. I think I'll pick up a card and maybe the Wii game he's been looking at. And I'll be hoping he takes me to the casino while the kids are in school tomorrow (I haven't been down in MONTHS) just for a couple of hours, to play cards and have lunch, decent car trip to chat. But he won't, he's not a gambler. But I hope I get lunch or flowers out of it anyways.

Did you girls see under the General Chatter section that 3fc is having a Meet N' Greet in LAS VEGAS May 2010? I'd love to be able to meet ya'll there! Like a little WEED/WOW subdivision. I just know that I don't just spend that kind of money on myself to do something like that. <sigh> But I'll keep dreamin of it.

Be back later. Hope the germies are gone and you're feeling better Amy, and I hope things are okay with Jeni's sister. xoxoo Michelle

awwwwwwwww i want one!!! Ron's probably in Khurdistan or Japan today, i'm not sure where he's at. I *should* get something for Bosses day or Administrative assistant's day since I'm the boss and secretary of the house, but the last time I mentioned AA day he looked at me like I was crazy and shook his head. Gee, I'm the one who pays all the bills....literally. Or when he's got his registration for his car, or whatever. Brat *sighs*

My lungs hurt....everything's settled in my chest. I'll be ok though.

Well I have a bit of good new today. The scale said 202.6, a new low. I hope it sticks and then continues the downward trend. Someone else told me to eat protein today. I have to figure out what that would be exactly and how I could incorporate that into my diet. I mentioned my smear of peanut butter on toast for breakfast and they said that a tad was not enough. But it's so high calorie.

How about some good suggestions?

Jelly- You have done really well and lost a bundh of weight. Good for you.

Holy- Glad your neice has been found. I have a neice who was very wild for a while. It is stressful on everyone.

Michelle- Have fun at the casino, if you get to go.

Tom. is weigh-in at school, so I am hoping for something good. Wish me luck.

The sad part is, my niece is a pretty good kid.....her mom's the one who's trying to be her best friend and it's not what she wants. She's divorced now and trying to have a life, I get that, i've been on the teenager end of that. Mom never tried to act like my best friend and we're closer in age than my niece and her mom.

I'm gonna start hitting the proteins and veggies real good in the evenings. i'm starvin right now though

Default Evenin' Girlies

Been a busy week. I thought I was gonna get more relaxing done while BF was goners, but nope. So last night my potential future sister in law (if BF ever gets the cajones to ask me) and I did a girls night. Watched Failure to Launch, ate veggie pizza and ice cream. Gonna weigh in tomorrow... not looking forward to it. And to top it off, going to Havasu for 4 days as Fatty McFat Pants and then TOM is due. Fat-tastic! I can hardly wait.

So I am promising to recommit on October 27th. Until then, I am coasting. Glad at the moment to get to catch up here though (mini-NSV!)

Mtig- my best friend in making the scale move is a full 8 hours of sleep. I am usually a 6 to 7 hour girl, and 8 hours is magical. I think there are 2 benefits, go to bed early eliminates stress snacking late, and getting a full nights sleep keeps up my ability to handle stress the next day in positive ways. Just a thought. You are so level headed that 8 hours may already be in your regimin. I am calling you into the 100's though. And the way I'm going... you can catch me in the next 10 days. I bet I weigh 199 again. Come get me, and lets walk the rest of the way!

Jelly - Smoking craving is the worst if I'm bored. I patched it for the better part of the 1st 10 days. The nicotine addiction is done in 3 days, the behavioral side is the beast. Before I quit, I got on to becominganex.org and did do the suggested breathing, waiting 5 minutes before smoking, to start to seperate the urge from the action. Funny thing, sometimes I would want to smoke, do the five minutes, and look up and realize it had been 45 minutes! Kinda crazy, but definitely helped!

Jen - Hope you are doing okay and that your drive is/was safe. Look forward to some good new from ya soon!

Holyt - Sheesh... get better already! I know the Santa Ana's the last couple of days down here are testing allergies and sinuses all over town. Also, glad your neice is okay.

Nchellie-- I would love to do Vegas too. But May is kinda a bummer. BF and I have our annual derby in May and thats where the $ goes that month. Fooey... I'll dream with ya!

Jlea - speaking of dreaming... my next doggies (remember I put my baby down a few months back) will be 2 dogs. Hopefully Choco Labs and their names will be Smith and Wesson! I have already decided! Then I'm getting a sign that says this house protected by Smith and Wesson. Yep.. thats my plan! So lets see a pic of the pooch and maybe we can help!

MMavis - I know you've popped in, you really should be monitoring our MMUNCHES. I believe I have neglected mine this entire challenge.

Grazer - How's that book woman! Don't keep it a secret! Hee Hee

Okay... I have done my damage after being away too long. Will get my head WEEDy again tomorrow. Good night ladies!
