I am a day late but I would love to join.

I did ran/walked/ellipticalled (is that a verb?) yesterday but I didn't keep track. I know I ran for 20 minutes at about 5 mph and walked for 10 at about 4 mph and I don't know about the elliptical - it was the first time I tried it. So I am going to guesstimate 2.5 (because the running and walking were 1.65+0.67=2.3 and I did the elliptical for 15 minutes).

Hope that sounds fair.

Hi wanting to and everybody,

It looks like everybody is really going great so far.

I forgot yesterday that I did 10 mins on the bike before weights so that was 2.3 miles and then I did 1.5 miles on the elliptical this morning so

2.3 bike + 0.5 swim + 1.5 ellip = 4.3 so far!

(Doesn't seem fair that 10 mins on bike = 2.3 miles and 30 mins of killing myself on the elliptical = 1.5 miles but that's what the darned machines said. )

It's great to see so many people joining this thread!

urockmom, I feel the same way about going for my walks. I can walk about 5 miles in a bit over an hour, but I can do the same on the bike in far less time. Funny thing is, on a subconscious level, I think of the walk as a "harder" workout. I think because it takes more commitment.

10/2 - 2.5 + 2.5 = 5 miles

This is such a great motivator. I did not start yesterday because I was having so stomach issues but I am on a roll today. I walked 5 miles .
