I did my first day on Tuesday and I'll do day 2 tonight. I wasn't sore at all which was surprising since I was really sore after the initial test. I must be getting stronger already. Good job to everyone doing push ups!
Okay I just did week 1 day 1....and let me start off by saying that it was a bit harder than I anticipated it to be...LOL! OUCH! My arms are hurtin' already...and I just know my arms and chest are gonna be sore tomorrow!
It only took me about 3 minutes do complete all reps....I did 10 then 12 then 7 then 7 and my final max out one I managed to get 13 wow...they hurt too!
But anyways....so I did day one....should it take longer than 3 minutes?
Melissa: Wow! im proud of you! you are a push up goddess!!!
i usually give myself 5-10 mins to do em.. i take the 60 second rest between like the website says... so i can save teh energy to do as many as possible on that final stage. but hey.. it takes as ong as it takes.. 3 mins or 10 mins.. as long as it gets done.
I think having the rest period in between will mean more when we are higher into the challenge... i will def need to rest between like sets of 20 reps or something!!
I forgot to do my push up workout last night, so I did it this morning in my office. I was really hoping no one would walk in while I was on the floor
I think I may have started too easy, but lookng at the weeks to come it was probably a good thing!
I've completed week 1. I was able to do 15 girly push-ups. But I'm gonna repeat week one again. I don't feel strong enough yet? I'm afraid to push on because I get so shaky by end that I feel I need to keep working at the level I'm at for a bit longer.
Maybe I should push myself. Ugh..I'm jsut not sure!
Lisa! hahaha! If someone walked in on you, they would probably be all.. 'Daaa----Ng! They girl is HARDCORE! Pushups during work.. THATS why she's sooo buff and HOT to TROT! ' haha
frank: Why don't you try week 2, and if you can't do it, go back t o week one. I get shaky too. Just remember to give yourself enough rest time between sets!
Im off to do my day three, level 2
Edit:
And complete! I did 15 in the final 'do as many as you can' set. I was SHAKY but i did it!!

Okay, I just finished Week 1 (albeit 2 days late... got a little off following it on the preplanned days) and I'm excited that I already feel stronger. I'm in the lowest rung for girlie push-ups and started off only able to do 5 (and with sore arms, abs, and chest for days). Today I spit out sets of 4 & 5 like nothin' and my last big push was 9 easy push-ups (probably could've made 10 but I gave up too easily).
I'm so glad I joined this challenge!
By the way, I'm impressed with all the push-ups you folks can do! I'll be there eventually, just give me some time!
ok - so I FINALLY joined you last night. My computer crashed just after I started and I did too many! ah! I wound up doing 44 total but I will try to do it right next time!
Hi Ladies! I just found this... I did Level 3, Week 1, Day 1 today (girly style) -- I think my arms are going to kill me tomorrow. Gotta love that burn.
I finally started week 2 today. week 2, Level 2, day 1, complete!
I only did the minimum amount in that last set.. and I knowi could have pushed myself more. i need to take more time and put more effort in this challenege, and not half *** my way through it. I need to try to get down closer to the ground and push myself on that last set.
i don't care what anyone says.. pushups hurt! Even when they are half ***ed!

I just finished Week 2 and I see the part about the exhaustion test... need to do a minimum of 16 push-ups to move to Week 3... What? My best yet was about 10!
Also I have been spacing my days a little wacky... I just did my Friday push-ups today (Monday)... and let me tell you, the more days you leave between, the less it helps! Today was so hard! Consistency helps.
So I hope I am not too "exhausted" to move on in a couple days.
I def think that I will be on week 2 a little longer than 'planned' I havn't been as consistant as I wanted to be either. But as long as we keep plugging away i guess! good luck on the 16 pushups joyra!
