Hi ladies.
I'm back from the beach. It was so much fin. Ok now here's the bad part, all the healthy eating went straight out the window while I was there. I get so darn weak with all the restarunts around... clam chowder..fish n chips etc. It was bad. It really stinks too because I came back 1.5 lbs heavier.
I'm not gonna get too down on myself though.
Today is a new day and I'm back on track!
I'll be back later to post howthe day went.

Christian- I'll say a prayer for your FIL.

Welcome to those who just joined in!

Shy- I am so glad your back Your right...today is a new day and a new start, You will do just great I am sure of it. Thanks for the prayers, I know he really needs them right now, I was proud of myself today though, we went to the mexican resteraunt and I just ate the middle from a taco salad and no chips with salsa ...I know that the meat wasnt lean like it should be, but I was hungry so I think it was a pretty good choice overall. This is day 8 on the SBD and I am really doing alot better with the cravings even with the stress of going back and forth to the hospital like we have been. I hope everyone else is having a great day, I will check in later tonight

Ok so today wasnt great.

B: Special K bar and Orange juice
L: Tuna sandwich
D: Chile colorado burrito, rice, beans, chips, salsa

Doesnt look like a terrible amount of food right, but I dded it up on FitDay and it was like 1500 cals.
I didnt exercise at all today, I just felt so tired, maybe becasue of my long weekend. The night isnt over though so MAYBE I'll find a little time to get on the elliptical.

Christian: Good for you for being so strong at the restraunt, I definatly need to work on that.
See you all tomorrow.

Christain...prayers to your FIL!!! I hope things turn out okay. Good for you for staying strong during all of this.

Shy....don't feel too bad about eating while at the beach. It's not like you go to the coast and eat everyday. Now your home and back on track...that's all that matters.

Now for me...I haven't stepped on the scale since friday...and not sure i want to. I didn't really over eat this weekend or anything, but i certainly didn't undereat either. I did do alot of walking on saturday. Took the kids to six flags. Then sunday we went to a arts festival in town. But...i think i can finally work some excersize into my day. I finally know when to expect my dear bf home from work, so while dinner is in the oven, i can go out and get about a 2 mile walk/jog in. With the weather finally cooling off, i think i'd really enjoy getting out there. So todays Weed:

W- 64 ounces
E- 1300 calories
E- 2 mile walk/jog
D- get back to me.

Thanks guys for all the prayers and support these last few days, they are trying really hard to get all the clots to break up and I am hoping he will be better in a few days and get to go home

Shy- Looks like you had a great day yesterday, and I am with lumifan- there are some times where it is relaxing to just not think about diet and enjoy your family, and a beach weekend certainly would be one of them

lumifan- I am with you..I love cooler weather and I will be walking today also,

Have a great one everybody

Hi everyone.
Its 10pm and I'm just here to post how I did today.
I ate about 1300 caloried and for exercise I did 15 minutes on my wlliptical before the baby woke up and then I did another 35 minutes after she went back to sleep, That was about 300 cals I think.
Hope everyone's day went well and I'll be back to check in tomorrow night.'

Welcome Matilda!!!

I got the chicken out thawing so all i got to do is stick him in the machine and set the timer. Then it off to outside with me. I am tracking my calories today so i should be able to make sure i stay below 1300.

I would like to join in as well. I'm a new member, and could definitely use the encouragement/challenge. I'm currently at 208, and my goal would be to lose fifteen pounds by Thanksgiving, putting me at 193 pounds

This is the first challenge I've committed to since I joined this sight last week. I'm glad that i can have you guys to keep me honest and accountable. I want to lose 15 lbs by Thanksgiving. I don't think I've EVER made a specific number goal for weight loss. this is a big deal for me and. . .well, here goes nothin!
